•Consistently staying up to date and reviewing changes in legislation in the funds industry
•Created, at launch, the policies and procedures employed by the company to fulfill its compliance obligations
•Creation of report templates used by the company, which includes valuation reports, portfolio monitoring reports, board reports and designated persons reports
Acting as Investment Manager under advice from an Investment Advisor for a number of funds including derivative and property strategy funds
•Management of on-boarding of new sub funds to a multi manager UCITS umbrella
•Control of business development presentations, while also meeting potential new clients
•Development of oversight procedures on funds to match expectations set out by the Central Bank/Program of Operations
•Liaising with all stakeholders involved with the proper functioning of funds, including auditors, investment managers, legal advisors, administrators and depositories
•Monitoring the exposures of funds under management, while also setting benchmarks and considering any operational or investment risk associated with the funds
Migrated derivative oversight procedures from JPM Bournemouth to JPM Dublin which involved offsite training
•Oversight of offsite hubs to help mitigate risk and identify errors on over 10, 000 derivative positions
•Team lead which involved oversight of work produced and responsibility for overall sign off
•Liaise with clients regarding any derivative queries and pricing discrepancies
