I am a mature lady, a graduate teacher who has been teaching the English Language for the past seventeen years. I have the ability to assess the various learner's needs and approaches to assist them.
My interactions with the diversity of learners also enabled me to understand their individual and specific learning needs. My interests also include sports, arts, crafts, debate, quiz and public speaking.
As a result, my learner's not only achieve academic excellence but also excell in other areas. I have mentored fine art and crafts students who have pursued art as a career, child councillors and senators. In addition, l am a climate change, gender equality and HIV/AIDS activist.
I am a dedicated teacher, who puts maximum effort to ensure that learners become proficient in reading, writing and speaking of the English Language.
As a learning person, my desire to learn more has led me to pursue a career in a different country and culture.
Currently a teacher by profession (English Language and Geography, 17 years experience). An excellent orator, initiator, leader, and hardworking individual. I have created, managed and improved various learner activities in various areas like HIV/AIDS, Climate Change, Gender Equality, learner empowerment through sports, arts and culture and life skills training.I am endowed with strategic management skills, personnel management and mentoring abilities. As a learning person, l am motivated by improving the lives and abilities of those around me through recognition and development of capabilities within the individuals l interact with.
