Responsible for finalisation of various technology for Process Units including several downstream units from international technology providers.

Responsible for finalization of Construction contracts including Basic Engineering, FEED, PMC & EPC through competitive bidding as per set company procedure.

Development and implementation of project procurement procedure, standard document templates, General Conditions and other various relevant standard documents for the projects and other procurement planning & development work.

Responsible for identification of suitable bidders, RFQ preparation and review, issue of RFQ, offer follow-up, opening of bid, coordinating for technical evaluation and providing active rolls during technical evaluation, price bid evaluation and comparative bid analysis. Negotiation with technically shortlisted bidder on commercial terms and financial value, taxation etc.

Responsible for Techno Commercial discussion/ Negotiating with National/International contractor and consultant on Deviation, Contractual Terms.

Responsible for drafting MOM for Techno commercial points/clarification discussed and agreed during the negotiation.

Responsible for drafting note for approval, Letter of Intent, Letter of Award, and Contract as per the negotiated terms and getting approval from Contract review team and management.

Responsible for review and coordination for external Contracts received from various parties related for the Project.

Responsible to coordinate kick-off meeting, change order management, disputes managements and contract interpretation and coordination with Legal Head and Project Manager on legal and technical issue respectively for preparation of reply to the Contractors and working as Contractor Administrator for Post award Contract.

Responsible to Monitoring of commercial milestone, Bank Guarantee, Advance Bank Guarantee, LD etc.

Responsible for coordination with legal head, finance head, project team and financial controller team for finalizing commercial matter.

Key Result Area:

Perform pre-qualification of contractors in terms of capabilities, capacity and financial standing, Prepare and issue RFQ and handle Bidders contractual queries, Techno commercial evaluation, negotiation of terms, Contract drafting and approval from management.

Participate in the preparation of the scope of work for various contract services.

Assist the Manager Commercial and Project Manager in facilitating compliance to the contract terms conditions & schedule.

Arranging kick off meeting & review meeting, review of project correspondences received and identification of any changes/additions/deletions to the existing scope in the contract.

Managing change order including collecting offer for additional scope, rate analysis preparation & negotiation for the additional scope and initiating management approval note and contract amendment.

Coordinate for warranties, performance bonds and insurance and ensuring that they are in place in accordance with the contract and company requirement.

Ensuring that clear and accurate records of contractual matters are maintained and to be monitored key dates, against dates defined in the contract.

Assure invoices and payments are accurate and processed on time.

Coordinate and perform contract close-out actions, Contractor performance evaluation and maintain a close working relationship with Financial Analysts, Project Manager, and Legal.

Member of internal audit team for internal auditing of other units in India and coordinator for external audit at site for contracts compliance, procurement process and control measure.

Conducting internal training season to educate the user department for raising of PR, preparation of terms & condition, bill verification and SAP uses.
