Opening of two new business from start to finish. (Dubai Hills Pro Shop 2018 and Zayed Sports City Multi Branded Sports store 2019). Driving operational improvements, maximizing the value of the asset base while ensuring a tight control on operational costs. Responsible for monitoring and continually improving standards of performance and quality within the
operation.
Responsibilities:
Managing a team of approximately 40 employees in a busy retail work environment. Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures. Creating, managing and analyzing performance data and other information. Ensuring that capacity and capability are continually planned. Encouraging, identifying and developing best practice strategy. Working closely with the Financial Manager, Facilities Manager, IT Manager & HR department.

• Controlling all associated operational costs according to the prevailing annual budget forecast (P&L)
• Supporting the planning, development and overall management of project budgets, in collaboration with relevant senior field managers and HQ staff.

• Working closely to build and maintain a close working relationship with clients.
• Maximizing accuracy, productivity and space utilization.

Closely with marketing, logistics, warehousing, procurement, and design to initiate the first of ten new unique retail stores in the UAE and GCC. Determining market-related price structures. Acquire niche consumable and apparel
brands internationally. Attend international trade shows to build relationships to acquire sufficient brands. Recruit and
develop strong retail and technical teams to service new retail space in regional sports markets.
Achievements:
• Opening Stand-alone Cycling store and been involved from start to completion of the project
• Acquiring up to 40 new brands exclusively for Sun and Sand Sports both for retails and distribution
• Assisting SSS retail division in reaching set targets
• Identify shortfalls within the retail sector and implementation of stock changes to increase revenue
• Developing in-store training and business modules
• Staff recruitment for stores
• Procuring new brands exclusively for Sun and Sand Sports
• Alleviating stock holding and increasing department revenue by 35%
Manage and oversee four stores consisting of four Managers and 30 staff. Working closely with warehousing, marketing,
distribution, and procurement of new and current brands. Develop business plans for optimal use of resources and time.
Assist in interviewing, recruiting, and training staff. Develop marketing plans to achieve sales target and increase brand
visibility. Manage daily operations. Analyze capital budget and expenses. Evaluate employee performance and assist
in individual development
Achievements:
• Develop and open Ride Abu Dhabi and Liv (only female stand-alone store in GCC)
• Recruited and train all female staff for Liv store
• Running complete project with contractors from base shell until opening finished stores.
• Train staff on daily responsibilities, store operations, brand promotion and customer service activities.
• Spent 10 days in Taiwan Giant with founder of Liv
