Part of the Romanian design team for a large comercial project. Implementing BIM on multiple small and medium scale projects.
Coordinating between specialities to assure a timely timely delivery of the project with minimal to no errors.
For the client we developed projects of new, extensions and refurbishments of gas stations all over the BENEFRUX area.

Working in strong relation with the senior architects and the structural engineers for finding the best solution suited to the specific client.
Drawing the necessary items and building the 3d model for the draft team and working with them to finish in a timely manner for permitting purposes and also final delivery.
Attend meetings with the clients in which we present the designed project and have a productive discussion for further development.

Junior Architect

Was responsible for the final faze of the project for the "Brancusi museum" in Craiona, Romania. That implied finishing the drawings, finding the best solution for the landscape architecture and the entrance apparatus, drawing the special architecture details and putting together all the papers and approvals in the dossier to be sent at the city hall of Craiova City. All this time I was under the supervision of Arch. Adrian Arendt, Design Director of DS Birou de Arhitectura.
Took part in the team that was responsible for the Nepi Office Center in central Bucharest. That implied taking part at the discussions with the structural engineers, fire auditor and architectural auditor. Drawing elements that were included in the final dossier, and verifying if the dossier is complete and sent to the beneficiaries

Junior Architect
InterTech Design, Bucharest, Romania

Took part in commercial projects with persons as well as the government.
One of the projects was to convert a large home in the mountains in a small pension. This meant to survey the construction which had begun, come up with ways of improving the layout and also touch on the subject of interior design. Calculate the necessary of materials and make an estimate of cost for the project was also included in the agreement.
In the time being there took part in two projects of small houses also, in all their fazes: concept, drawing, detailing and cost estimate.
Led a small team of junior architects on the field for surveying apartment buildings that were part of the rehabilitation program, Bucharest. This was a subcontracting agreement with a larger firm, that passed on to us a number of 180 apartment buildings. The job included identifying, talking to the superintendent, taking 30 years old plans and transforming them in CAD format, surveying the apartments that did not have the original plans and proposing the solution for the thermal insulation system.
The highlight of my job at InterTech was being made responsible for the development of the design of the first Romanian public"Near Zero Emissions Bulding". This was done in collaboration with a team of installations engineers from the UTCB. This resulted in a modern looking building that houses a number of specialized laboratories, offices and a lecture hall.

Junior Colaborator Architect

March 2011 -March 2012
Collaborator for "Filarmonica Transilvania" Competition. Selected by Dorin Stefan from a number of 60 participants, along with two other to be part of the team that developed the concept and materialized it as a forward looking way to do architecture.
Out of the three I was the only one that continued collaboration with the architecture firm for two commercial projects. A small house by the lake and a facelift of a bridge in central town Bucharest. Unfortunately the projects stopped the progress because of the financial difficulties that the beneficiaries had.
Towards the end of my collaboration with the firm I was part of the team that developed the submission for The Helsinki Central Library Open International Architectural Competition.
