• Collaborate with implementing partners to conduct a thorough review of the existing protection strategy identifying opportunities to integrate participatory and community-based approaches.
• Develop and implement training programs for implementing partners, based on needs, to enhance their capacity in applying participatory methodologies within the protection framework.
• Establish a feedback mechanism with Persons of Concern (PoC) to continually assess the effectiveness of protection initiatives and support.
• Coordinate closely with partners to integrate GBV case management into community-based approaches ensuring a holistic response to protection needs including timely and quality services and prevention interventions.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with PoC and network with partners to stay informed about political, social, economic, and cultural developments affecting the protection environment.
• Facilitate regular dialogue forums involving the protection team, PoC and partners to address specific Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) concerns ensuring a coordinated response.
• Actively engage with host communities and partners to initiate and support joint initiatives for the protection of PoC including comprehensive case management for GBV survivors.
• Ensure that all GBV survivors and persons at risk of GBV known to UNHCR are adequately assessed in safe spaces and receive quality GBV case management and other services including safe shelters.
• Collaborate with implementing and operational partners, as well as local communities to identify and support community-owned activities addressing a range of concerns including social, psycho-social, cultural and livelihood issues as well as CP and GBV concerns.
• Conduct capacity assessments and risk analyses of communities of concern using findings to tailor support and interventions.
• Facilitate the establishment of community representation and coordination structures ensuring the meaningful participation of PoC in decision-making processes related to protection matters including GBV case management.
• Develop and implement systems for collecting data on programs and budgets from an Age, Gender, and Diversity (AGD) perspective to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the impact of protection initiatives.
• Oversee the drafting of routine correspondences, documents and reports maintaining up-to-date filing systems to facilitate easy access to information for the protection team.
• Ensure that reporting mechanisms received from partners on a monthly and quarterly basis are based on Project Process Agreement guidance and indicators calculations. Conduct regular data validation exercises to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of reported information contributing to a robust monitoring and evaluation framework.
• Enforce participatory AGD-sensitive analysis as an essential basis for all UNHCR's work providing guidance and support to the protection team in this regard. Regularly review and enhance these analytical processes to improve the quality of responses including GBV case analysis.

As a Senior Public Health Assistant in the Public Health Unit of the UNHCR, I have learned to assist with the implementation of the public health program and ensure that healthcare services provided to refugees are based on Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and UNHCR’s standards, to follow up with the Third Party Administrator (TPA) and other partners on the medical referrals for secondary healthcare, to follow up on the complaints received in term of access of persons of concerns to Primary and Secondary Health Care and other reported issues and concerns, to assist in the health program monitoring and field visits to the clinics and contracted hospitals, to participate in mobilizing the refugee community to address its health needs and concerns, to assist and facilitate the work of the health coordination group, to closely work with the sectors to support the identification of priority health issues, to closely monitor and initiate RRT response related to the COVID-19 pandemic situation within BML area and to work with the stakeholders, including UN agencies, NGOs, MOPH, MOSA, and other operational partners.
