• Collaborate with implementing partners to conduct a thorough review of the existing protection strategy identifying opportunities to integrate participatory and community-based approaches.

• Ensure that all GBV survivors and persons at risk of GBV known to UNHCR are adequately assessed in safe spaces and receive quality GBV case management and other services including safe shelters.
• Collaborate with implementing and operational partners, as well as local communities to identify and support community-owned activities addressing a range of concerns including social, psycho-social, cultural and livelihood issues as well as CP and GBV concerns.
• Conduct capacity assessments and risk analyses of communities of concern using findings to tailor support and interventions.
• Facilitate the establishment of community representation and coordination structures ensuring the meaningful participation of PoC in decision-making processes related to protection matters including GBV case management.
• Develop and implement systems for collecting data on programs and budgets from an Age, Gender, and Diversity (AGD) perspective to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the impact of protection initiatives.
• Oversee the drafting of routine correspondences, documents and reports maintaining up-to-date filing systems to facilitate easy access to information for the protection team.
• Ensure that reporting mechanisms received from partners on a monthly and quarterly basis are based on Project Process Agreement guidance and indicators calculations. Conduct regular data validation exercises to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of reported information contributing to a robust monitoring and evaluation framework.
• Enforce participatory AGD-sensitive analysis as an essential basis for all UNHCR's work providing guidance and support to the protection team in this regard. Regularly review and enhance these analytical processes to improve the quality of responses including GBV case analysis.
