• Ensures The LAN and WAN is operating at maximum efficiency with proper security.
• Supervises the maintenance and software updates to all servers in the school.
• Responsible for the Dell Content Manager server, Active Directory, Windows 2008/2012 DNS servers, Firewall server, Windows 2012 File servers.
• Responsible for the cabling and wiring plant and facilities for the network.
• Responsible for the operation, maintenance and control of the school communicator System, support and changes related to the system.
• Serves as the security officer for the network.
• Deploys and maintains firewalls, cryptography systems, and all network host security activities.
• Works with the school management to determine resource requirements, budget, and personnel needed to keep the network in a production status. Evaluates end user needs and recommends appropriate equipment and software configurations.

• Ensures school’s Network and personnel are in compliance with all Operating system Licenses for servers and desktop PC’s to ensure the Legality of usage.
• Responsible for wireless connectivity for school. Ensures wireless connections are secure
and safe.
• Oversees and installs complex software for LANDesk Desktop Maintenance, including
Desktop maintenance, management and software delivery systems, creating install packages and deploying system updates.
• Responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation describing the LAN's layout
and operational considerations.
• Assists with the acquisition and directs the installation of new network hardware, PC
computer, hardware and software systems.
• Provides training to Teachers and students in the use of their systems.
• Network management including development and implementation of wiring configuration standards connectivity solutions, overall school network operation systems,
network software, server hardware configurations, network file systems, directory structure and LAN/WAN system integrity and security.
• Installation and configuration of network hardware and software.
• Researches, configures and installs personal computer software packages, software
Upgrades, PC Support, emulation, internal/external modems, etc.; upgrades hardware and
software to meet user needs.
• Performs related duties as required.
• Ensure maximum availability of computer systems all over the center.
• Providing infrastructure services for information technology, including desktop applications, LAN and IT security.
• Solve the problems of network and communication devices immediately when reporting in a timely manner through phone call or direct visits.

• Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.
