I was working in the Ministry of Health as an Advisor in E-Health for Planning, Strategy and Digital Transformation Department, the department is responsible for multiple divisions working together to support all services within Digital Transformation Office. I joined Enterprise Office, where I was involved in the Business Team. I have worked with different healthcare information systems such as GE, OASIS, CareWaree, MCC and Other Electronic Medical Record and Information Systems. My role covers all aspects of clinical application life-cycle (end user requirement analysis, designing the business process workflow, full engagement with end users to help with change management and doing assessment for current and future objectives. Through my work and the divisions’ responsibilities I have learnt the technologies surrounding the IT aspects and also ARIS functions. As one of the more senior members of the team, I am involved in the decisions and support of the management by reach the top one level in QIYAS and NORA Standardisation.
A new revision of the application utilised in the cardiac center was released by the vendor.
The deployment to the clinical areas, required a complete overhaul, I redesigned the layout
for the clinical areas that I am responsible for. I then reviewed and gained acceptance to
move to the production environment with the clinical leads and management. Then I created
a training program and material, which then was delivered before going live. I continue the
support for this area and was able to assess my success in this project by the number of
support requests from the end users.
