• Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Office applications, Microsoft CRM, VMware, Microsoft Lync
• Completed a Windows 7 and VMware 5.0. Also completed the ITIL Foundation course with Certification.
• Management of Backups and restores. Experience with Commvault, Netbackup and Backup Exec.
• Work with a host of Banking applications, Trading applications, financial applications and general office applications. Both installation and troubleshooting. E.g. Bankmaster, Reuters, Bloomberg, 360T, Barx, Smartview, Essbase and Citrix hosted applications.
• Completed major projects for the bank:
1. Installed and configured 2008 server for new swipe card system
2. Project lead for Windows XP/Win 7 Office migration. (roughly 300 PCs)
3. Project lead for new backup system. Involved speaking to multiple vendors,
accumulating information on previous backup system. Liaising with the backup
company providing the product. Assessing the limitations of current infrastructure and
potential compatibility issues with the new product. Migrating from a 2003 server to a
2008 server for legacy restores while being security compliant.
4. Project lead for major office reshuffle, coordinated desk relocations, screen arms,
monitors and PCs. 200 staff moved
• Lead admin and coordinator for our managed website. Involves speaking with the website
management company and performing patch installs and website updates via Goto Meetings.
• Senior IT member in charge of Helpdesk operations and providing statistical reports on Tickets,
incidents and trends.
• Work with a host of Banking applications, Trading applications, financial applications and
general office applications. Both installation and troubleshooting. E.g. Bankmaster,
Investmaster, Reuters, Bloomberg, 360T, Barx, Smartview, Essbase and Citrix hosted
applications.
• Senior IT member in charge of Helpdesk operations and providing statistical reports on Tickets,
incidents and trends.
• Training new staff on multiple aspects of the business, applications and Banking evening
procedure. Running reports and setting the banking system to next working day, takes 2-3 hours
to complete.
• Have excellent communication and problem solving skills. Have a great working relationship
with all staff and management.
