Senior Projects Manager

A member of the Ministry’s PMO, helping in the implementation of highly complex, large-scale, strategic IT and business initiatives.
• Governance of projects to ensure the compliance with the established PMO processes
• Lead and manage large-scale e-government and e-services project involving development of e-government strategy, planning, architecture, and implementation.
• Ensure cross-program dependencies are managed and the dependency log accuracy
• Control project/program requirements, scope, and change management issues
• Facilitate the creation of communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged among key stakeholders.
• Advise senior management on project status, issues and risks
• Critically review technical & commercial proposals and drafted contracts for upcoming projects

Head the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of multiple projects in various government entities.
• Define the project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables and assisting in the enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
• Ensure business requirements suitability of the overall system
• Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
• Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
• Manage Risks & develop mitigation plans
• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Handle company’s vendors including: Liaison with vendors of competitive pricing, product evaluation and new partnership, handling delivery arrangements and stock management
• Participate in providing solid responses to customer’s RFPs including proposing suitable Software and hardware, SLA schemes, resource skills and project budgets.

• Manage project development from initiation to closure
• Create and execute project work plans and revise it as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
• Make sure deliverables are handed over to customer on time.
• Minimize exposure and risk on project.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Collaborate with Finance department to ensure customers are billed on effective manner

Acquiring key information about potential projects, discussing requirements in detail with clients and setting project schedules;


Understanding individual clients' needs, developing business design concepts in consultation with the client and establishing final briefs;

Researching and gathering information related to the project ;


Preparing Case Studies, Presentations and Demos for the Customer and discussing possible options;


Report all activity on daily, weekly and monthly basis to the Project Manager.


Supervising work at the design, Development and QC/QA stages;


Escalate any unresolved issues to the management in a timely manner.


Manage all documents produced through project life cycle

Analyzing current processes for possible enhancements


Identifying new business and selling services to potential clients;

Responsible for managing existing customers and maintain excellent relations at all times, as well as developing new businesses. Being the single point of contact for the customer, the job required vast knowledge of client’s used technologies within the organization, as well as new technologies to improve customer`s organization performance.
• Initiate and controlling situational business and technology conversation
• Obtain customer requirements and designing solutions for identified business problems
• Demonstrate sessions to educate customers on new technologies through presentations and work shops
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Head of Account Management and Pre-sales to inform, promote and deliver the project properly
• Seek and Recruit new partners when recognizing a situation where ready solutions aren't available in UAE
• Maintain excellent relationships with all vendors at all times
