Technician at Autronix
  • South Africa
  • My current job since May 2013

I am currently working as a technician where I repair electronic automotive part instead of people having to replace these parts at unaffordable rates. My role is something that one one could ever replace as the knowledge I acquire is through trial and error and pure exploration. To explain a little more we mainly specialise in heavy duty machinery like Mercedes, MAN, Toyota, VOLVO, CAT, and when they have an electrical fault on there internal computers (ECU) they bring them to me and I repair them. I have an in-depth knowledge on Trucks but mainly electronics.

Fleet Logistics Manager at Zipcar
  • United Kingdom
  • September 2008 to April 2013

Zipcar was a unique pay by the hour car club for members who didn't have there own transport. My role was to co-ordinate drivers to do repairs and ensure cars were in the right location for our members to start there bookings. This was a very high pressure role and required a lot of dedication. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and have even been asked to go back numerous times.

Service Advisor at Alipine Motors VW Dealership
  • South Africa
  • January 2006 to August 2008

My role at Alpine VW was very in depth but our main function was to manage customer accounts and ensure the best possible service when they brought there car in for repairs. We would interface with dealerships as well as private individuals ensuring that there car was well looked after and repaired to a high standard.
