- Perform regular daily monitoring of all Chiller unit, Cool Room, Restaurant and Other Public areas actual Temperature through checklist, and checking of any abnormal parameters every after reading and report to immediate superior any abnormalities found. - In-charge with the day operation in the absence of the Engineering Supervisor - Repair and maintenance of Chiller units (Carrier brand, 130, 250, 300 tons, reciprocating) such as overhauling, change oil, drier core replacement as well as troubleshooting. - Perform regular daily monitoring of all Chiller unit, Cool Room, Restaurant and Other Public areas actual Temperature through checklist, and checking of any abnormal parameters every after reading and report to immediate superior any abnormalities found. - Daily checking of all equipment parameters and running condition. - Directly responsible for the operation and maintenance of related facilities equipment in a safe, economical and continuous Hotel operation. - Responsible for the operation and maintenance in generating stable supply of chilled water to Guest rooms and other public areas. - Responsible for the operation and maintenance of air-conditioning system to achieve the tolerable specification of the room. - Performing other functions which may be assigned by immediate superior or department head from time to time. - Responsible in completing all maintenance request whether in guest rooms or public areas. - Execute the measures on repairs and prevention of recurrence of breakdowns for continuous Hotel operations. - Implement of continuous improvement of operation and maintenance procedure. - Assistance and supervision of contractor works.
- The ability to diagnose defects in component parts and in the system of the domestic refrigeration and air conditioning units and repair.
- The bending, joining, installing and fixing of copper tubing used in domestic refrigeration and air conditioning units.
- The use and operation of an oxy-acytelene welding outfit for brazing of copper tubing connections.
- The use of the multi meter and hook-on meter for simple electrical testing and in identifying terminals of components of a domestic refrigeration and air conditioning units.
- Leak testing, flushing, evacuation and charging of a domestic refrigeration and air conditioning units.
- The use of a vacuum pump, charging and testing manifolds, charging cylinder and leak detector.
- The reading and uses of thermometer, pressure and compound gages.
- The ability to diagnose and repair any defect in any type of frost free and fully automatic domestic ice maker machine, excluding body repair work and painting.
- The electrical wiring connection of component parts of any type of frost free refrigerator and fully automatic domestic ice maker machine.
- Replacement procedure/technique in the replacement of a burned winding compressor motor in any domestic refrigeration and air conditioning unit.
- The use, care and maintenance of tools commonly used in refrigeration and air conditioning trdae.
- The electrical connections of the components of domestic refrigeration and airconditioning units.
- The electrical groundings of domestic refrigeration and air conditioning units.
- The use of the multi meter and hook-on meter for simple electrical testing and in identifying terminals of components of a domestic refrigeration and air conditioning units.
- The reading and use of the thermometer.
- General cleaning of refrigeration and air conditioning units and testing for normal operations.
- The testing and replacing of fuses.
