Receives instruction from and reports to the HSE Manager.
•Prepare Induction Training Modules for rigging and lifting crews.
•Manage in house training to grade new and existing riggers.
•Provide skills development to rigging personnel working in sites.
•Ensure that all rigging and lifting activities are planned and executed as per the requirements of relevant client Procedures.
•Ensure all rigging and lifting activities comply with HSE Policy & Procedures, Permit to Work Systems (PTW) and full commitment to safe work practices.
•Ensure that all lifting activities are performed safely.
•Ensures adherence to all of safety policies and procedures.
•Onsite verification of the requirements of the Approved Rigging and Lifting Study Reports, Sketches, Method Statements and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
•Ensure that others involved in lifting operations in the vicinity of the crane are wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are not in unsafe locations.
•Ensure clear and concise hand signals are understood by all involved with lifting and hoisting operations conducted with the cranes.
•Ascertain the weights and dimensions of all lifts and ensure that the appropriate lifting gear is used.
•Ensure routine minor preventative maintenance on the cranes is performed in accordance with the Maintenance System.
•Ensure that lifting gear used with the crane, including slings, shackles & spreaders, is certified, matches current color code, is in serviceable condition and is suitable for the purpose intended.
•Ensure that all personnel from the Rigging & Lifting Contract meet the requirements and are competent enough to execute the lifting operations in a safe manner.
•Serve as the appointed person in all heavy lifting operation.

•Conduct site survey and coordinate to the client.

•Ensure that all heavy lifting operation and heavy transporting are carried out safely.
•Manage in house training to grade new and existing riggers.
•Serve as the appointed person in all heavy lifting operation.
•Conducting a tool box meeting among riggers and operators.
•Provide a plan for the selection of cranes, lifting gears and equipment, instruction and supervision as necessary for the task to be undertaken safely.
•Ensure the adequate inspection and maintenance of the equipment has been carried out and proper storage of lifting equipment and gears are provided to protect and avoid from damage.
•Monitor riggers, operators during lifting and hauling activities and to ensure best practices.

Coordinate the daily running of rigging work through the rigging Term Contract and direct hired Foreman. Includes planning and scheduling routine work, responding to emergency work in conjunction with Planning Engineer.
•Ensures the standard and quality of work executed by the rigging Term Contractor. Including manual lifting, crane heavy lifting, routine rigging and transportation, etc.
•Prepare daily report on rigging Term Contractor listing the jobs in progress and category and number of worked allocated to each job, so that compliance with Term Contract can be verified.
•Provides opportunities of assisting, training and developing of employees under direction.
•Positively coordinate and communicate with different departments, contractors and parallel companies in order to provide adequate satisfied services to customers.
•Conducting a tool box meeting among riggers and operators.
•Acknowledge and implement an updated company lifting safety procedure, in all services.
