Appointed by Emirates Refreshments PJSC in August 2010 as Senior Accountant to implement monthly closure of Books of accounts, which was not happening earlier, and also to implement ERP system to improve company’s accounting processes & controls. • Finalization, Preparation & Consolidation of Financial Statement.
• Preparation of Management Accounts’ Presentations for Board of Directors.
• Preparation of Annual Budget, Forecast and Variance Reports.
• Monitoring Procurement/Payable Management, Fixed Assets, Inventory and other financial areas.
• Monthly closure of Books of Accounts and reporting to Top Management on given deadlines.
• Verification of monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement and payroll processing.

• Fully responsible for quarterly/annual Internal & External Audits (worked with KPMG, PWC, E&Y, Grant Thornton).
• Compliance and working knowledge in International Accounting (IFRS) Standard.
• Working Knowledge, implementation Exposure in UAE VAT regulation.

Controls & Negotiations
• Managing complete Credit Control of the company. Direct liaison with the customers on overdues recoveries. Monthly ageing review with sales team to minimize overdues and to control bad debts.
• Fleet, Insurance, Rent & Lease renewals with effective negotiations.
• Handling control issues with IT and develop new reports.

Banking
• Dealing with the bankers to establish LC/TRs.
• Placement of Fixed Deposits.
• Obtaining bank facilities, bank guarantees & other working capital requirements.
• Monitor company’s cash & bank positions.

Trader, Importer-Exporter of Cosmetics, Perfumes & Toiletries to local buyers (Carrefour, Spinneys, Lulu, Choithram, Adco-op etc) and to GCC countries.

• Preparation of Financial Statements - Trail Balance, Profit & Loss Account & Balance Sheet.
• Preparation of Cash Flow forecasts, Budget and variance reports.
• Finalizing Bank reconciliation statements. Handling Receivable, Payable Accounts & Fixed Assets.
• Handling annual external audit.
• Preparation of MIS Reports for Top Management.

Joined Anika International Pvt. Ltd, India in April 2001. Later in 2004, based on performance, company has assigned me to handle their Dubai based company operations i.e. Anika International FZE.
