Heading 3 departments - Ocean Export, Air Export and Land Freight Departments and leading a team of 3 Team Leaders
Directing complete commercial & business support functions including budget planning, forecasting and demand planning
Liaising with Suppliers and developing excellent relationship with them while managing all daily activities for departments
Supervising accurate creation of Purchase Orders for clients; coordinating & negotiating with clients for sourcing of best solutions, shipping lines and airlines for shipment; developing & maintaining excellent business relationship and developing strategies for business development and revenue generation; monitoring client files such as Profit vs Cost vs Credit Terms
Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and using CRM to streamline business operations
Analysing market & competitor insights for better market & price optimization
Interacting with Sales Team for new market, clients and business
Spearheading supply chain and managing end-to-end supply chain starting from planning, production, trade & compliance, imports, exports, warehouses, distribution and logistics till delivery, customer and service level satisfaction
Leading complete Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement & Export Operations; devising inventory, dispatch & logistics plans
Planning & controlling the receiving & storing of inward logistics; spearheading complete logistics functions including coordination with Transporters, Shipping Lines, Airlines and Freight Forwarders for smooth movement of materials
Following global sourcing & procurement policies; performing cost saving analysis, vendor development, feature comparisons, negotiation / commercials with vendors and maintaining vendor database
Controlling & maintaining inventory to ensured optimal availability of materials
Building & maintaining relationship with Vendors/ Service Providers and Depots
Complying to regulatory guidelines for Export shipments for various countries worldwide; coordinating with authorities, CHAs and Vendors for timely clearance of import/export shipments
Recommending corrective action plans for supply chain & logistics operations
Devising strategies to strengthen distribution and transportation (Air/ Surface/ Ocean) operations to increase effectiveness improve service and ensure customer satisfaction
Heading sourcing activities and ensuring optimum utilization of materials, inventory control and maximizing cost saving
Coordinating with regulatory bodies and monitoring shipment approval documents for export shipments
