• Leading, directing, and monitoring the performance of all project team and support staff under their control.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for client and main contractors related all project matters.
• Developing, foster and maintain a strong and close relationship with the client. Keep the client informed on all project related issues in a timely manner.
• Performing services such as Construction Supervision & Project Management, Construction Management, Quality Assurance and Testing & Commissioning during the Construction phase of the project
• Review of Contract Documents and providing feedback and recommendations on technical issues in line with the Contract technical requirements
• Conducting periodic site visit of works and preparing site inspection reports highlighting delays to the progress of various project components as well as any issues impacting the progress along with recommendations in line with the Contract and PIL requirements.
• Review of daily progress reports from field team and preparing ‘Weekly Log of Issues' for onward communication
with Client, USAID, Supervision Consultants and Contractors
• Review of Quality Control tests records in line with Contracts Technical Specifications
• Verifying quality of all new infrastructure construction, rehabilitation of existing infrastructure.
• Chairing weekly site coordination meetings with projects stakeholders and preparing/circulating minutes of meetings
• Review and providing feedback on WAPDA and supervision consultants bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports.
• Conducting milestones certification visits for certifying achievement of payment milestones, as specified in the Project Implementation Letters (PILs) in line with milestones scope and PIL requirements.
• Review and comments on Recovery Plan of the Contractor to ensure completion of the project milestone as per Agreement.
• Preparing Agenda for meetings related to Project Kee issues and suggestions/recommendation for resolution of key issues.
• Preparing presentation of Project activities, key issues etc. for monthly progress review meeting in line with the contract documents and implementation of schedule of work in line with PIL of USAID.
• Preparation of Quarterly and Annual performance report of the Project and onward submission to USAID.
