Duties and Responsibilities
• Preparation of procurement schedule. Analyzes technical details; specification, drawings, vendors credentials/ prequalification, and facilities.
• RFQ preparation includes raising queries to clients/consultants concerning document discrepancies, administration of sending out enquiries, take-offs, and subsequent submission.
• Evaluate and check the tender package, including scope of work, bid clarification, pricing schedule, bid list, and technical questionnaire.

• Responsible for preparing Subcontracting agreements/LOI’s, as directed, in accordance with the approved packages.
• Arranging the LPO’s for materials and negotiating with approved suppliers to supply quality materials.
• Analyze and interpret variations to the original scope/contract specification and drawings.
• Interview and review of new vendors particulars and suitability, approval/rejection as per company QA/QC system requirements.
• Co-ordinate with the Project Manager/Operations Head for the material requirements, verification & ensure timely delivery as required.
• Deal with subcontractors/suppliers for the delivery of materials and defective/non-conforming materials and arrange for replacement of the same.

Continues monitoring of the market by attending trade exhibitions, and discussions with potential subcontractors/suppliers to update with the market trends in relevant categories of purchases.

• Review and organize the submission of the suppliers and subcontractors material submittal in compliance with contract and project specifications.
• Responsible for arranging and attending meeting with the Consultant and Client for technical and material presentation for approval, preparing and submitting the minutes of the meeting.
