Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and coordinate with client inspector regarding inspection hold points and furnish the necessary inspection documents as required by client's inspectors to sign off documents and reports are then forwarded to document control for the preparation of as-built drawings and completion dossiers.
• Responsible to plan and schedule the work within the given deadlines.
• Responsible to deal with the various aspects of piping such as installation, repair and maintenance, and replacement.
• Monitoring safety measures and procedures at the workplace and needs to implement them as well.
• Prepare the documents at the various stages for the development of the project. Make and submit reports for daily activities and maintenance issues.
• Responsible for the preparation of daily and weekly reports such as work Progress and look ahead plan and submitted to the piping lead department. Responsible for safety requirements and condition of the working area.
• Review construction design and instruction, lot plan, flow diagram, and supplier Information.
• Conduct a site survey to oversee and coordinate job activities related to shutdown for the installation of new mechanical equipment and piping.
• Ensure that all work is carried out to the required quality in the best possible manner and within the guidelines of the industry's best engineering practices.
• Ensure that the safety management programs on departments' safety Objectives are strictly followed and action is taken against defaulters to prevent a recurrence. Performing Hydro Testing & Pneumatic Testing for process and utility piping.
Inspect and monitor the site/project activities ensuring technical integrity and quality as per the contract/project piping discipline requirements and best practices. Prepare and coordinate to client inspector regarding inspection hold points and finish the necessary inspection documents as required by client's inspectors the signed off documents and reports are then forwarded to document control for the preparation of as-built drawings and final completion dossiers.
• Verify the design integrity of work carried out by engineering contractors to ensure that the propose solution are technically sound and meet operability and maintainability requirements.
