Flawless Concepts Ltd
Total years of experience :18 years, 4 Months
Working as a Director / Owner in the home and commercial interior design industry, my key responsibilities include all areas of business development including sales, marketing and full project management.
During this time I have increased my business network and had opportunities to pitch for work using excellent interpersonal skills to both architects and end users.
Services I offer include home staging large high-end properties, Commercial office design, bar design and high-end city centre apartment design. This has given me the experience of working with all different levels of people from the middle class to the extremely affluent.
I was responsible for the day-to-day management of the New Charter Integrated Family Services Team. This included the management and supervision of two deputy managers and the overall management of a team of approximately 20 key workers, each with complex caseloads offering specialist support to ‘Troubled Families’. I needed to ensure that the targets were met to meet the requirements of specific contracts, including Payment by results (PBR). It was my responsibility to maintain and develop relationships with Partners and Commissioners to ensure both the continuation and expansion of the service.
I was responsible to ensure that both performance and customer service were paramount in all aspects of the work undertaken. Involving service users in both the review and development of the service in order to facilitate effective delivery.
I also had the responsibility for the control and review of spends in a delegated budget, as well as being actively involved in the budget setting.
I worked directly with both the head of service and the service director and sat on a steering group that oversaw all the services across the region.
I was responsible for the line management & development of the Cornerstone Family Intervention Service. We provided a multi-disciplinary approach for troubled families reducing family barriers to employment. We managed this by addressing; intergenerational poverty, mental health, crime and Anti-Social behaviour, domestic violence, housing issues, relationship breakdown or conflict, family debt, misuse of drugs and alcohol, low qualifications and skills.
I assisted in the development of robust partnerships with Job Centre Plus, Work programme. Using a coordinated approach in order to deal with the prevention of intergenerational “worklessness” crime and ASB. We achieved this by raising families’ aspirations and increasing both school and further education attainment through specialist assessment and support planning.
I achieved the setup of one of the first North West Family Intervention Services including creating all policies, procedures and administration.
I provided intensive support to 6 Families involved in high levels of anti-social behaviour
I was responsible for the branding and marketing of the new service to enable an increased referral flow and to ensure continuation and growth of the service.
During my time in this role the service grew from my independently working with 6 families to 6 key workers working with 36 families. This was due to the service being recognized as a flagship service for the northwest and further funding being allocated.
Working as part of a team of support workers in a family homeless hostel to provide support in preparing families to move on into a new family home having the skills to be able to sustain their tenancy. Addressing issues such as ASB, drug and alcohol problems and parenting issues.
