It's been a month I became a freelance motion graphic designer. There I became the assistant for the post production assistant supervisor. My job is compositing, rotoscoping, motion graphics for logos, chroma key, color grading, music editor, make a rough edit (from the raw materials to be finalised by the senior editor), make an urgent edit (if needed - when the editors are not available), and librarian. Since then, I have not had enough time to renew the portfolio. • Work closely with Creative Director and Producers to create graphic concept and develop the ideas into the final motion graphic/on air graphic package for
TV shows/programs
• Work on the on air promotion materials including visual effects, compositing, color grading and printing materials
• Collaborate and assist on some projects together with other graphic team members • Several times to make short ads for airing such as consumer retails and
short political campaign ads
• Responsible for all of the inhouse production for the entertainment, drama, news, religious programs and special programs such as, Miss Indonesia (special), Indonesia Movie Award (special), Office Boy (comedy tv series) etc
• Supervise, organize the workflow and evaluate the work of the inhouse 7 motion designers, 4 set designer and 8 set builder
• Work closely with the producers, graphic section head and art section head
• Collaborate with the show's producers to make the onair look ideas for the programs and
translate it in the form of design
• Role as a leader and blend as part of the team member
• Negotiate with the vendors/suppliers/contractors
• Other job responsibilities includes finding aesthetics and technical solutions to problems
related to motion graphics and set design
• Involved in ‘Vina Bilang Cinta’ the first motion picture ever created by RCTI/MNC as
the Art Director, Motion Graphic Designer/SFX & Graphic Designer for the motion title of Vina Bilang Cinta, motion title of MNC Production, posters, printings and
promotional materials
• Involved on some other jobs from the group channel, i.e. the IPO agenda
• Learned motion graphic for the first time, learning by doing
• Provides, create ideas and develop it into a graphic packages for channel indentity/branding
including bumpers, stings, bugs and other graphic items
• Involved at ‘Andai Ia Tahu’ soundtrack album as part of the music production team.
