• Helping to lead a worldwide transformation project for GSK’s End to End Supply Chain, initially based out of top 3 key sites within GSK Network. Adding capability into Supply Planning and both Production & Material Scheduling at all levels of the business. Stakeholder engagement at all levels being a key element in the success of the project.
• Initially supporting and guiding BAT Supply Chain / Operations Leadership Team along their Transformation journey to ensure continuity with delivering BAT’s business objectives. • Helping to lead a worldwide transformation project for BAT’s End to End Supply Chain. Adding capability into Supply Planning and Procurement, focusing within the NGP - New Generation Products area and looking at improvements in both Production & Material Scheduling at all levels of the business.
• Sales, Manufacture, delivery and fitting of bespoke household interior doors, kitchen & bathroom. Procurement of raw materials for manufacture, distribution and fitting to modernize homes within the Murcia Region of Spain.
• Reinvigorate the Supply Chain functions within the business
• Lead team within all aspects of Supply Chain & Logistics
• Negotiate and develop supplier contracts, SLA’s and SOP’s to establish one way of working
• Reduce overstocking levels to a manageable degree
• Assess, recommend and initiate good working practices within all areas of operation
• Create a better working environment for staff that will benefit the patients
• Establish a great logistical network so as not to miss patient deliveries direct to hospitals / pharmacies
• Subject matter expert to lead projects/initiatives to ensure a supply chain that has high performance, activity, and strong program compliance.
• Lead defining and modeling interim and future state processes using good practice principles
• Ensure fully joined-up Supply Chain solution \[people, process, systems, and data\], whilst building the highest standards of Supply Chain processes
• Created training and guidance material to embed interim and future state business processes
• Defined Test Scenarios around which functional, system integration, and end to end testing can be structured and executed
• Defined Test Scripts and Test Steps around which functional, system integration and end-to-end testing can be structured and executed.
• To effectively manage and maintain the Supply Chain and Logistics department whilst members of staff were on vacation and paternity leave, ensuring to smooth day to day running of the business’s order book, stock control and deliveries to customers within the UK and Europe. Arranging product deliveries from manufacturing sites within the US to UK warehouses
• To smoothly aid the Supply Chain and Logistics final deliveries to clients for a company who had entered receivership. To help motivate employees during their final few months and weeks in the business.
• Re-engineering and transformed the tender process for all UK transport and warehousing operations within the Danish Crown/Tulip Foods Ltd businesses. £55M+ spend across 6 categories
• Re-evaluated and led BAT Supply Chain / Operations Leadership Team along their Transformation journey to ensure continuity with delivering BAT’s business objectives. Implemented SAP APO/MM/IBP across numerous sites through UK & Europe. Stakeholder engagement at all levels being a key element in the success of the project.
• Responsible for all aspects of Supply Chain & Logistics across Professional & Consumer businesses of hair care & body care.
• Successfully implemented Supply Chain Planning & Scheduling project across Europe to outsource certain demand and inventory planning functions globally - Shared Service Centres. Implementing SAP APO DP and SNP from Nov 2013
• Successfully implemented Local & Global S & OP process into UK Supply Chain with Demand Alignment schedules secured till year end with Sales & Marketing
• Successfully migrated Finished Goods Warehouse to 3rd Party providers - TUPE of staff (%) + redeployment into Head Office
To initiate all Supply Chain proceedures and best practices into a new start up dairy operation. To manage local workforce within Supply Chain & Logistics departments. To be an integral part of the senior management team, to offer advice and experience.
