Gulf Business Machines is the largest IT Integrator in the GCC excluding KSA with over 1, 500 employees selling and delivering IT solutions including managed operations and cloud services.

Served as a senior manager responsible for two regional services lines of business including strategy development and alignment to the corporate mission including; portfolio and service catalogue management; establishment of sales targets and delivery KPI’s.

Selected as a member of the “ONE GBM Leadership Team” for organization wide strategic decision making and transformation execution.

Developed and managed Sales and Delivery Team financial targets and KPI’s.

Increased service sales to $60M plus per annum with a compound annual growth rate of 20% for revenue and net profit through portfolio diversification, partnership expansion and sales and delivery structure transformation.

Operational cost reduction of 50% by technology adoption, process reengineering and training.

Improved the organizations cash flow and reduced risk by training sales teams to strongly negotiate customer payment terms.

Successful negotiated an OEM penalty claim on GBM saving the organization $1.1M

Provided project oversight including financial authorization and risk mitigation.

Won new business using entrepreneurial leadership and leveraging off dynamic resourcing.

Invested heavily in portfolio diversification which created new revenue streams of $24M.

Instigated the management of service delivery and sales processes that increased OEM rebates, generating an addition $2M per year in net profits.

Implemented a training budget program that allowed Branch Offices to adopt an entrepreneurial approach to new business opportunities while reducing risk.

Acted as industry services expert having keen understanding of Project / Client Requirements coupled with hands-on exposure in handling all phases of Project / Program Life Cycle, right from requirement analysis, project scoping, planning & scheduling to the implementation of robust technology solutions within time, budget and quality.

Accomplishments:

 Acknowledged for exceeding revenue & profit target from 2008 to 2012, 2014 to 2016, a period which included the financial turbulence of the Global Financial Crisis.

 Developed, deployed and marketed new and diversified range of services that increased the company’s net profitability.

 Played key role in designing and development of project financial calculation templates.

 Developed and deployed the company’s first services catalogue, standardized regional customer facing templates.

 Developed and deployed Management, Engineering and Administration operational documents.

 Implemented quarterly location assessments to evaluate process compliance and financial alignment to the sales plan and service delivery KPI’s.

 Significantly reduced customer escalations through prompt resolution of issues based on customer and employ first cultures.
