Business Development Director
Key responsibilities:
• Operations
o Lead the company effectively to maintain continuous service quality by implementing best practice and techniques, training and developing processes. By providing the service controls and conformity to SOP’s and operational standards.
o A customer focused organization coupled with the driving bottom line profits which Increase year on year - 2016, 28%, 2017 - YTD 26%.
o Full P&L responsibilities - Revenue £14M, Profit £3.2m, retails sales increased from 4.2% in 2015 to 21% YTD 2017, with staff in excess of 800.
o Improve business operations in all areas such as stock movement. (Av. yearly stock turnover £1.2M)
o Staff retention program introduced resulting with a reduction of turnover from 25% (2016) to 15%. (YTD 2017)
o Since joining, established a strong emphasis on market share resulted in growth, achieved by instilling a sales focus culture environment, membership scheme and strong social media engagement coupled with incentives to create new demand. (14, 000 members)
o Oversee Senior management (as shown in the organizational chart) to successfully drive the company in line with the company values and business plan.
o Analysis the market and recommend potential ME business opportunities including new store locations (7 NEW store locations confirmed for 2018.

• Legal - Contract point person
o Oversee compliance to legal regulations & municipality regulations.
o Review/ negotiate a wide variety of contracts ranging from product supply agreement with L’Oreal (ME), staff accommodation rental, warehouse property and distribution agreements.
o Company liaison with company lawyer reference Due Diligence, municipality guidelines and staff violations.
o Oversee Municipality product registration functionality.

Franchisee Development Director

Key responsibilities:

• Undertake process to ensure the company is able to offer such Franchising services, both contractually, legally and operationally.
• Screen potential business partners by undertaking due diligence, analyzing market strategies and assess partnership compliance while upholding the Brand philosophy, alongside examining risk factors.
• Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
• Spearhead the development of negotiating strategies of potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
