Provide armed security to military installation and personnel. Man towers ensuring outside perimeters of military post are secure. Prevent unauthorized entry of persons, articles, and other property by vehicle search with mirrors. Physically check security badges for access and escorts privileges. Investigate any security breech in security of the installation. Keep a running log of all personnel entering and exiting the facility. Check in with base station at designated times for a security check. Respond to building security fire alarms, provide appropriate escort for event offering deliveries, address, and assist with any suspicious or questionable person(s) or activity. Assist with accommodating visitors and members requests for direction or information; document by written report any security incident. Monitor uncleared construction contractors and other uncleared personnel while performing the daily functions in and around the secure site. Coordinate access for contractor vehicles and personnel; personal security badging within the facilities to include construction sites. Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and established procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted areas and materials. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
