Working at Ben Taub as an intern, I observed the techniques needed in the clinical field, from examining a single cell to amplifying it. I learned how to develop a strategic plan to improve lab performance, as well as run, analyze, and track samples. I also learned how to reduce wait time by working with multiple samples at the same time. I also learned how to QC the instruments and troubleshoot them if needed.
