In Simplex I joined as Deputy Project Manager in Guwahati and subsequently promoted to Project Manager.
My first project was an Institutional Building (Assam Legislative Assembly Building Project, Guwahati).
1. Value of the project: INR 177 crore
2. Floor area: 3.5 lac sqft
3. Team size: 45 persons
4. Average monthly billing: INR 2.5 crores
5. Storey: G+15
My last assignment was at Gadarwara, MP as Project In-charge. The project was piling work of the CHP Package of Thermal Power Plant of NTPC.
In SGCCL I joined as DPM and left as PM.
The salient features are as follows:
1. It was a Medical College with hospital and other allied buildings at Tezpur, Assam.
2. Value of the project: INR 2.15 bn
3. Floor area: 1.5 mn sqft
4. Hospital size: 500 bed
5. Land area: 37 acre
6. Team size: 40 persons
7. Average monthly billing: INR 35 mn
In Ambuja Realty worked as Manager Construction. There I was looking after the internal finishing of a five star hotel project.
Salient features of the project:
a. The project: Swiss Hotel, City Centre II at Rajarhat, Kolkata
b. Project value: More than Rs.300 crores
c. Important parts: Five star hotel, shopping mall, multiplexes, banquet hall, open air coffee shop - all with five star facility
My job responsibilities
a. Supervision of construction of the entire interior of the banquet hall
b. Supervision of construction of the exterior of the hotel building
c. Supervision of construction of the Jacuzzi of the hotel
In PWD I worked as a Junior Engineer, TES Grade - V(A). There I did various types of civil construction works that include
a. RCC Bridges, Culverts,
b. Industrial, Commercial & Residential Buildings,
c. Road works,
d. River Training Works, etc.
As a Junior Engineer my responsibility there was as follows:
a. Estimation
b. Execution supervision
c. Billing
d. Contract follow up
