1. Mechanical Design experience in Aluminium Smelter Reduction Technology for complete new as well as further improvement of existing technology.

2. Working experience and selection of various mechanical equipment related to reduction pot line.

3. Working experience on various process, operation & maintenance related to reduction pot line.

4. Material handling working experience on smelter green carbon anode plant, rodding shop, fresh alumina handling, butt recycling, crush bath handling, ALF3 /Al2O3 handling etc.

5. Mechanical design experience on dry scrubber & GTC/FTP design.

6. Working knowledge on pot bath chemistry, aluminium production, and overall pot cut out & cut in, pot bath up, preheat etc.

7. Working knowledge on Dense Phase System & Air Slide related to Al2O3 & ALF3 handling system.

8. Actively participating for Floating enquiry for various equipment related to pot line and performing techno commercial negotiations with suppliers too.

9. Conversant with Alumina Pechiney (AP), EIL, Brochot, Rio-Tinto-Alcan etc. Plant Design Technical Specification.

1. I am associating in detail Mechanical Engineering design execution of Mechanical/Utility Systems of Aluminium Smelter Plant, Coal Handling Plants, BOP, Green Anode Plants etc.

2. Independently preparing Design analysis of Aluminium Smelter pot room, Technical Proposal for Bidding/Tender Engineering and detail Cost Estimation & Cost Control and Project Monitoring work for various Plant Auxiliary systems like Ventilation/AC/Dust Suppression/Dust Extraction/DFDS/Cold Fog/Piping/Ducting calculation & design.

3. Various Water Based system like Service Water, Cooling Water, Potable Water, Sump Pump, Feed Water, Compressed Air, HVAC, Tunnel, Ventilation Duct Layout Design.

4. Air Pollution Control design for Plant as per ACGIH regulation. Detail pre calculation and proper selection of approved make Fabric Bag House, Cyclone, ESP, Ventury Scrubber, Baffle Plate etc.

5. Detail design of Fire Protection System for Plant. Detail system design and calculation for Hydrant, MVWS, HVWS, Spay System & Fire Extinguisher, in line with TAC & NFPA standard.

1. I associated with Static Equipment Design (Vessels, Tanks etc.) by using PV Elite & Code Calc., Detail Engineering Manual Calculation for Static Equipment as per appropriate ASME/API/BS Codes. Detail Engineering/GA drawing part marking, preparation for MTO etc. Co-ordination of all engineering activities, which come under the scope of Mechanical Department.

I associated in new product development (R&D Design) of Pressure Vessel, Design of Heat Exchanger, Design of Storage Tank, Design of other Static Equipment by various methods, Preparing Material Take-off, Define Fabrication Codes of Pressure Vessel, Various Excel calculation with related to Pressure Vessel and Pipes etc.
