Coverage area responsibility:
• Coordinate with HQ Project procurement team to ensure efficient movement of all PO materials and evaluate all materials before sending to site and appointed fabricators. Expedite materials if/when required. Evaluate all production schedules and determine all required PO materials and ensure availability of all materials
• Monitoring logistics transportation from local and overseas vendor as per purchase order and expediting schedule.
• Monitor transportation of materials from the vendor shop to arrive at the port of destination, and prepare all material documentation if there is a delay in the customs process which may be due to mistake or lack of information in customs documents.
• Conducted surveys for the preparation of heavy lift item transportation (such as; Turbine Generators, Transformers, Girder Frames, and Other Over Dimensions and Heaviest items), and ensure the roll on / off of abnormal cargoes goes smooth.
• Monitoring and controlling for receiving materials, material inspections, photographing deliveries, checking completeness of order and monitoring all back ordered items.
• Responsible developing and implementing of the site material laydown yard plan for effectively storing materials at site, and include extend scope for warehouse and materials handling equipment support.
• Responsible to provide information according to technical queries (TQ) of materials by clarification material compared BOQ or BOM as per construction drawing, supply materials, availability materials, differences specification of material item.
• Review materials site (SI)instruction before issuing to related contractor due to shortage, replacement materials, substitute materials, or additional material supllied.
• Review puchase request of materials that received from construction engineer following technical specification, materials specification, quantity, requisition of materials schedule.
• Sourcing and negotiated with supplier or vendor for supplying materials items as per additional material request by construction, and ensure specification of materials, budget of purchase, purchase term, warranty and delivery time meet with company and construction requirement and policies.
• Responsible for transferring custody of materials to contractors as requested complying with construction Procedures.
• Manage and controlling storage of mandatory spares, special tools for commissioning and startup operation as per procedure in the contract term, and make sure the all of items in good packing and condition until ready to issue or handover.
• Liaise with Engineering and construction team (Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrument and Mechanical) department regarding schedule of Material Take off and reconciliation of stock. And preparing report on material shortfalls, damage or non-conformance. And advise alternatives solution to construction and procurement team.
• Monitoring and Coordinate with construction QC for materials check if materials back loaded due to project deferral. And conducted monthly Check for expired dates, condition of materials and scrap them if required.
• Responsible to prepare site vendor database for site local procurement, and prepare RFQ complete with contract terms, review quotation, create bid tabulation, negotiating price of goods and services, payment terms and the last is deliveries and warranty of goods and services.
• Maintain and update the material tracking log and progress of the activities related to material management.
• Good Implementation on company regulation, HES and performance improvement.
