• Interact with suppliers and vendors. Handle correspondence for quotation, quantities and specifications.

• Pricing for electrical switchgear, GPS systems, SCADA GIS system, tools and consumables, vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Identify material types and quantities and prepare equipment lists for cost estimation.
• To prepare tender document queries to clients to confirm and collect any missing data.
• To prepare reports and supporting documents for the final submittal with the tender.
• Represent company in subcontract meeting
• Organising OEM costs if called for in tender
• Preparation of the final submittal for KOC / KNPC / JO / EQUATE/ MEW tenders
• Pricing for Unit rate based and Lump sum pricing
• Receiving of tender enquiries and preparation of after closing tender queries
• Coordinating with different trades regarding scope of work

Worked as Tender and Estimation Engineer with Ahmed Mansoor Al A’Ali, AMA. It is a premier business group, active in contracting, construction, manufacturing, real estate and trading. Employing some 4000 professionals the AMA Group serves both the public and private sector at the highest level.

• Applications, authoring technical content for their products and the creation of help files for Xtend IVR and Xtend SMS toolkits.
• As technical writer my work was to develop content for websites, to write help files and also marketing brochures.
• It was also required to research, write, evaluate and analyze Web Content for our websites, in a way that target key readers.
• It was also required to work closely with the Web Designers to ensure design squares the content themes.
• User manuals and installation manuals for the Xtend IVR and Xtend FCT were also prepared. The documentation of interfacing of Xtend FCT with mobiles and telephones of different companies was also prepared.
