Riyadh Metro - Package 3 (Lines 4, 5&6), Arriyadh Development Authority, KSA:

• Responsible for addressing the site technical queries, liaising with other disciplines (Structural, MEP & Architecture), responding General Consultant (RAMPED & ICE) comments, approving shop drawings and final detailed design and drawings of Superstructure such as pre-tensioned box girders using FSLM (Full-Span Launching Method), widened FSLM decks & precast twin U-girders (PCB).

• Prepared Bridge load test report to conduct full scale testing of repaired 36m FSLM girder & final comparison report. The test was first of its kind in Riyadh metro.

• Responsible for reviewing the Rail-structure analysis (in compliance with UIC codes by TJV) reports, preparation of technical notes for site change requests or technical solutions and other interface control documents to resolve the concerns with other disciplines.

• Responsible for managing the Cladding edge unit (steel skeleton frame) & walkway designs (in compliance with ACI318-11 code) from Bangalore team, reviewing the designs & drawings, coordination with other disciplines (MEP & Architecture), addressing site queries and comments.

• Responsible for detailed design & drawings of the viaduct spans for MEP openings (next to Line-4 & 6 stations) through extensive inter-disciplinary coordination with Elevated stations teams (MEP, PHE, Architecture, Structures) & Viaduct MEP team.

• Had won the BEWG Excellence Awards 2015 in UK, under ‘Safe by Design’ Category for the work on FSLM deck designs and the work appeared on the cover pages under Middle East in the ATKINS Bridges brochure.


Umm Lafina Link Road Contract-2 Tender Engg. (D&B) - HLG, Musanada, UAE:

• Responsible for preliminary design of the Bridge-1 structure using precast T-beams to AASHTO LRFD 2012 and corresponding drawings.

GEC-DOHA WEST, Contract 2-DW077 Celebration Road Over Bridge - IA ASGHAL Qatar:

• Responsible for the detailed design of North & South Bridges (3 span continuous CIP Multi-cellular box girder - 40m-58m-40m spans) using RM Bridge software; in compliance with BD37/01 code and reviewed the substructure design and complete drawings from GDC. Carried out coordination with other disciplines (Street lighting, Drainage, Highway & MEP) from different ATKINS offices.

Umm Lakhbha Tender Engg. (D&B) - CCC& CORSAN, PWA ASGHAL Qatar:

- Design and Construction of Duhail Intersection and Al Gharrafa Street
- Design and Construction of Al Bustan Street North
• Responsible for the concept design, drawings, delivery, and technical support of prestressed concrete highway bridges, tunnels and Underpasses at Road intersections (Single cell CIP Box girder continuous decks & Twin-cell CIP Box girder) to British Design Standards BS5400.

• Responsible for Conceptual, Preliminary & Final detailed design and drawings of Superstructure (pre-tensioned FSLM box girders, widened FSLM decks, precast twin U-girders, Substructure components (Standard piers, post-tensioned hammer-head & widened deck piers) to AASHTO LRFD 2012 Standards.

• Responsible for extensive preparation in the construction sequence of widened decks (twin, triple & four precast FSLM decks) using standard spans, with aid of launching gantry & transporter and resolving related queries.

• Responsible for high levels of detailed technical design, delivery of detailed design structural drawings, with a team of Engineers and CAD technicians within the bridges team.

o Appreciated for completing the segmental bridge design within the tender quantity by L&T ECC - Infra & OC team (contractors) and within stipulated time by Chennai Metro Rail Limited (Client).

Prepared preliminary design and drawings of 75m span continuous bridge (cast-in-situ prestressed box girder) using Balanced Cantilever construction.

Interacted & coordinated with the contractors, fabricators, client suppliers, electrical discipline and owner’s ‘General Consultant’ from initial phase till completion stage on design and construction of box girders.

Responsible for getting approval from independent proof consultant and issuing ‘Good for Construction’
drawings to site. Responsible for providing global coordinates for segment casting in precast yard and erection at site.

Guided Graduate Engineers in detailed design and drawings of prestressed void beam superstructure,
prestressed portal pier beams for metro rail loadings and temporary erection loads.

Prepared design of Seismic arrestor ‐ shear key device fixation of box girder with pier cap using HTS bars.

Prepared POT bearing schedule and layout, Detailing & arrangement of 3 span continuous tied deck (in-situ stitch with precast box girders) at rail track cross‐over locations.

Prepared miscellaneous works such as design of precast parapet (Emergency walkway) and railing, deck drainage details, overhead electrical mast inserts details.

Bangalore Metro Rail Project, Bangalore, India:

Prepared detailed design and drawings of viaduct transition spans next to stations (5 stations in Green line), using precast prestressed beams in compliance with IRC code.

Responsible for Conceptual design, Preparation of Tender drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), detailed estimates & specifications, design basis/planning criteria and Pre‐Bid queries for various tender engineering projects such as:
