Responsibilities:
• Responsible for preparing the Revenue & Cost Budget & finally the P&L of the Food Service Division of QNIE.
• Manage both the Sales & Category Team
• Position the company as a Food Service Solution Provider dealing with Live, Chilled, Frozen & Dry products covering supply of:
- Proteins (Meat, Seafood, Dairy)
- Carbs (Rice, Pasta, Flours)
- Fats (Oil, Butter, Ghee, Substitutes)
- Beverages (Coffee, Tea, Water etc.)
- Specialties (Bakery, Deli, Sauces & Condiments, Health & Organic Range etc.)
• Channels covered includes HORECA & Modern Trade Market (Fishery, Butchery, Deli, Bakery & Hot Food)
• Responsible to ensure the inventory management with 3PL arrangement
• Manage 3PL business opportunities - Five Guys, Wendy’s etc.
• Oversee the training & development of the team
• Responsible for the broadening of the business through upstream & downstream integrations and adding production facilities. Part of the new project development team.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the P&L of the Seafood Category at QNIE.
• Prepare Annual Marketing Plan for the Category.
• Responsible for the Business Development with respect to product, procurement, customer & business line.
• Attended Trade fairs & factory audits extensively representing the company across various parts of the globe
• Responsible for process improvement & generating SOPs.
• Team building & channelizing team performance
• Handled & rejuvenated the Retail Brand of the Category - ‘Blue Marine’
• Started off with the Retail cum Production Unit of Seafood Category - ‘Fresh Catch’
Responsibilities:
• Played a major role in strategic planning & international procurement for the company; primarily seafood.
• Significantly contributed in ensuring Cross Country trade by undertaking activities related to sourcing, price negotiations, quality assurances, payments & follow-ups.
• Acted as a Trouble-shooter by providing timely solutions in the entire supply chain.
• Primarily handled the markets of Africa, Middle East & Europe. Was accountable for developing the purchasing base out of India, Maldives, Yemen, Oman, Africa, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Alpha Middle East is a part of Africa based Alpha Group; is involved in International Trading & Marketing of seafood along with domestic distribution of value added seafood & meat products.
Responsibilities:
• International Trading of frozen & fresh Seafood.
• Ensured End to End business. From Vendor Selection to Customer dealings.
• Represented Company at various Trade Fairs & Exhibitions.
IFB Agro Industries Limited is a Public Limited Company. The Company is engaged in the production & exports of Alcohol, Dry Ice, Home Appliances, seafood and other value added food products.
Responsibilities:
• Was responsible for developing new markets & new products for export
• Looked after outward Logistics
• As an added responsibility performed Market Research to find the potentiality of Chennai & Cochin (cities in India) as markets for value added frozen food products.
• Initiated exports to Australia & Middle East and added new products to the Company’s export list.
