Defined and approved technical solutions; solutions affecting the contract and budget required TPM/PM approval.
Planned and requested correct resources and competences within budget restraints.
Technical & Commercial responsible for the design, engineering, construction, testing and delivery of electrical LV switchgear and distribution boards. Also responsible for the modification(VORs) work required on HV, MV, LV Switchgear & distribution boards.
Task definition, resource planning and management, cost control, quality as well as schedule management for LV switchgear & distribution boards’ packages in cooperation with PM.

Technical management of the plant-wide access control system, fire detection and alarm systems, plant-wide IT infrastructures and telecom system, the plant-wide master key system as well as construction/installation follow-up.
The electrical engineer responsible for engineering, construction, installation, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for temporary power supply of high and low voltage installations required for process systems.
Prepared procedures, system description, and functional description, required for pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation and maintenance activities.
Developed procedures required for the transfer of the entire seawater process systems and installations from the temporary power supply to permanent power without shutdown/interrupting the normal operating process.
Developed the ‘as-built’ documentation for systems, and for packages within systems as required for DFO.

Front end engineering (in Paris):
Prepared specification for HV induction motors, HV/LV transformers, AC and DC UPS
Checked data sheets for LV switchgear assemblies, power installation standards required for preparation of the bulk material MTO (with MARIAN).
Performed interdisciplinary review of engineering documents.

Project: Qatar Pearl GTL Project - Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)
Client: Shell International Exploration and Production
Prepared detailed block diagrams showing the interconnections between the power, the control and the communications network in the substation.
Interfaced with the other discipline engineers during engineering design activities.
Prepared purchase requisition, reviewed vendor offers, performed technical bid evaluation(TBAs) on vendor technical offers for the
electrical trace heating equipment for the process-flow lines, equipment, valves & flanges in the ETP.
Assisted in developing and prepared single line diagrams and protection schemes for electrical power generation and distribution systems.
Performed design calculations for cable sizing, short circuit calculations, lighting calculations, power balance study, etc.
Designed the controls for electric motors. Showing the interconnection between the ENMCS(electrical network monitoring Control system), the IMCS(integrated motor control system), for the HV and LV electrical network respectively and the DCS(Distributed control system).
