Recruitment Responsibilities:
Currently leading the recruitment activities for the company in Kuwait. My day to day responsibilities include:
 Sourcing and screening applicants (internal, local and overseas) as per the hiring department’s requirements, job description and manpower plan and ensure all requests are in line with the same.
 Scheduling and conducting preliminary interviews and forwarding pre-screened candidates to the hiring departments. Coordinating with the hiring department managers for their inputs on interviewed candidates and related decisions.
 Coordinating with the recruitment agency as required to source for vacancies and process travel of selected overseas applicants. Conducting interview online for overseas applicants or if required organizing trips to recruit from overseas countries.
 Ensuring completion of all documentations and formalities necessary to process employment of a selected candidate, which includes but not limited to following up of ERFs and ensure its completion up to the last stage, checking and requesting for visas, creating job offer letters and contracts, requests for uniforms and police clearance, arranging flight bookings, meet and assist services at the Airport, etc.
 Communicating and following up on status’ of all formalities related to the hiring process with the concerned candidates, agencies or departments
 Maintaining candidate files while on process and generating recruitment related reports as required
 Attending to new recruits upon joining and coordinating for all the required joining formalities, i.e., creating or opening staff file, printing the NAS ID and following up for finger print attendance registration with IT, facilitating filling-out of joining forms, etc.
 Sending out internal postings for vacancies and new employee announcements
 Organizing and conducting the ‘HR Orientation’ for new employees in coordination with the Training Department
 Updating and developing job descriptions and other recruitment related projects.
 Analyzing the recruitment process and developing measures to improve its effectiveness.
 Planning and organizing Career and job fairs with various universities in Kuwait in coordination with the marketing team. Performance Appraisals:
 Leading the performance appraisal process of preparing and delivering the process orientation to Directors/ Managers and agreeing on timelines to complete the process with their staff.
 Delivering similar PMS process orientations to the supervisors and team leads, making notes of their feedback and ensuring that they have limited issues when addressing their teams with the process.
 Collating the PMS forms, ensuring that all of them are duly signed and filled according to guidelines.
 Ensuring that the ratings are within the bell curve and advising the department directors/ managers to make changes where necessary.
 Presenting the final report to the HR Manager to take necessary steps for promotions, increments and bonuses.
