I led the Clinical Systems Department to ensure that the Trust’s systems were administered in line with Manufacturers/ Supplier & NHS Trust guidelines. The Clinical Systems Manager was required to be the lead specialist in ALL Trust Clinical IT Systems as well also performing as line manager for the Clinical Systems Team staff. I ensured Systems remained fit for purpose and were available for use as required by the Trust and its employees. Great Ormond Street Hospital Intensive care units (Cardiac, Neonatal & Paediatric) & Children's Acute Transfer Service CATS

•Led with the Implementation, configuration, on-going support, training and service development of the Philips IntelliSpace clinical information system & Pre registration charting, inclusive also of all integrated medical devices e.g. ventilators, blood gas analysers, third party integrated systems and feeds.
•Implemented the critical care IT system within 5 months, from project initiation to go-live, which was previously unheard of (as detailed by Philips healthcare, like for like implementation). Training staff at all levels; from end users to Chief Executives.
•Coordinated go-live of the application and Philips monitoring equipment, integration and department move from Varsity building to Morgan Stanley; relocation of 24 Cardiac ICU beds and all affiliated hardware; network and clinical.
•Implemented / system managed DocStore, CareVue Legacy and Philips IntelliVue ICU and Anaesthesia systems.
•Demonstrated all hardware, software and project documentation on behalf of Philips Healthcare and Great Ormond Street Hospital to various Clinical Directors/Clinical Leads for Alder Hey Children's Hospital, numerous Dublin hospitals and a variety of other interested parties, and presenting at a Philips user group in Birmingham.

Blithe Systems

Blithe specialise in the provision of information systems and services for the healthcare sector, providing IT solutions for Sexual Health and Substance Misuse markets. My role was to assist the operational manager in her duties inclusive of

•Project managing all Poppie substance misuse software application, Lilie sexual health software application, Bomic & web Bomic software applications.
•Assisting in managing projects from sales handover, throughout kick-off, DTO, install, assignment of support & project regional officers, training, go-live to review. Monitoring continued support for each site as well as offering additional services and modules.
•Maintained and tracked all project plans, and ensured customers and relevant colleagues were kept aware of all project statuses throughout the project lifetime.
