• To carry out all electrical maintenance, modification and installation activities of various electrical equipment for all site facilities in functionality, reliability and efficiency in accordance with the company maintenance procedures.
• Carried out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and testing of a wide range of high and low voltage equipment, Switchgears, Control Panels, UPS Systems, Variable Speed Drives, Generators, Motors, Transformers, Protection Relays and Lighting Systems.
• Receives daily work schedule and instructions from the Electrical Supervisor. Obtains approved “Permit To Work”, necessary tools and spare parts to carry out the job.
• Ensures that all mechanical maintenance, installation or modification work is completed according to specific instructions, applicable work methods and procedures, and in compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards.
• Provide progress feedback to Maintenance Supervisor and work within the framework of ADNOC Offshore Standards procedures.
• Ensure all related Permit to Work is in place prior to commencing of work for every system.
• Provide accurate records and close-out reports of all completed work in alignment with company requirements, as detailed within the companies Maintenance Management System program and as requested by Electrical Supervisor and Team Leaders.
• Conduct regular toolbox meeting every morning before execution of work and report all Near Miss incidents and events during activities via the appropriate observation reporting system.
• Maintain tools and equipment in optimum condition and ensures the calibration validity of all equipment is retained and is available during any maintenance process in compliance with all HSE policies, procedures and standards.
• Preventive maintenance and repair of thyristor heaters such as condensate gas, glycol re-boiler heater
• Preventive maintenance and repair of electrical distribution systems (e.g. Lighting/Small Power).
• Preventive maintenance and repair of battery & uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems Emerson Chloride.
• Preventive maintenance and repair of Schneider Sepam, GE G60 universal relays, Micom and Tesys T-relay protection devices.
• Preventive maintenance and repair Emergency Generators
• Preventive maintenance and repair Gas Turbine Generator
• Preventive maintenance and repair such crude oil booster pump export-pump and chemical pump etc.
• Preventive maintenance and repair fire water pump.

Loop check, functional test of all switchgears LV/HV, MCC cubicle, transformer, UPS System, motors, protection relays, protective devices and circuit breakers.
•Loop checking, megger insulation test, checking of motor winding & rotation, insulation resistance & continuity checking, motor control functioning test, point to point for control cables, function check controls on each cubicle of MCC permissive and inter-trips as per design drawings.
•Performs fault finding and troubleshoot electrical faults for lighting fixtures and small power outlets.
•Performed visual and actual inspection, pre-commissioning and test run of motors for no-load run/load run, rotation of motor and noise during motor function test. Records in-rush current, running current, voltage, vibration, temperature NDE/DE, frequency (RPM) in motor frame and filling up all data results to ITR's to ensure all equipment and systems are operated safely in compliance with safety standard and regulatory documents as per commissioning requirements.
•Test run of motors, fans, compressors, generators and other equipment and log all the necessary reading required such as starting and running current, vibration test and motor temperature.
•Carried out all electrical commissioning works in all electrical equipments such as LV/HV switchgears, Emergency Diesel Generator, UPS System, Battery Bank/Charger, Lighting System and Small Power Distribution Boards.
•Functional test and repair of electrical systems in accordance with mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
•Performs cold and hot loop wire check, pre-commissioning, commissioning, megger insulation test, termination of motor leads, checking of motor winding & rotation, insulation resistance, hi-pot & continuity checking, motor control functioning test, point to point for control cables.

Carried out installation, maintenance and repair of wide range of high voltage equipment and associated system such as generator, motor, transformer, UPS System, rectifiers, batteries, switches, protection relays, microprocessor based control protection system, VFD's and test relays.
•Responsible for overseeing a team of electrical technician who install control panel and power system for various machine and systems.
•Ensuring that on site health & and safety regulation are strictly adhere to.
•Checked electrical materials to ensure all necessary fittings, cable trays, conduit pipe, connectors, cable gland, lighting fixtures and cable lugs are exactly the same as per schedule of clients standard procedures.
•Scheduling of daily work activities and preparation of daily and weekly accomplishment report based on actual versus target.
•Conduct advance inspection and coordinate to civil and mechanical on workable area to ensure all electrical installation on the field are based on standard procedure, clear routing for any obstruction holds points and follow as per client drawing recommendation.
•Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
•Supervised the work to ensure that all works are followed as per drawing plan and client established procedure.
•Supervised the following works, such as installation of cable tray main and secondary, lighting panel, junction boxes, lighting fixtures, switches, power sockets, welding receptacles and exit lights.
•Supervise cabling, cable pulling and termination of lighting fixtures, lighting panel, junction boxes, power sockets, welding receptacles and exit lights.
•Conduct routine check to ensure assigned manpower are working safely, free from hazard and use the right tools, right materials for the right job.
•Conduct inspection for the safe condition of work and ensure proper personal protective equipment is applied.
•Issue and clearing punch list items prior for commissioning of electrical system.
•Prepare and submit request for inspection on completed works to clients for approval.
•Preparation of daily accomplishment reports based on actual versus target.
•Perform isolation/de-isolation and energization of electrical equipments.
•Loop check, functional test of all switchgears LV/HV, MCC cubicle, transformer, UPS System, motors, protection relays, protective devices and circuit breakers.
•Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities based on work orders and carry out skilled maintenance, repair and testing of electrical equipment.
•Performs fault finding and troubleshoot electrical faults for lighting fixtures and small power outlets.
•Conduct daily primary meter reading, daily reports and weekly reading of capacitor bank for power factor correction.
•Complies with all safety and environmental procedures, permit to work system, job risk assessment accident/incident, near miss reporting and the use of personal protective equipment.
•Start-up, synchronization, manual loading and power adjustment/conditioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of 3 units 6.6kV 1.7MW Diesel Engine Generators and associated controller.
•Troubleshooting, operation and maintenance of all electrical system which includes 6.6kV power generation and 6.6kV/415V power distribution panel board, 415V low voltage MCC switchboard which includes PLC based and VSD controllers.
•Rehabilitation of electrical wirings including electrical lightings, lighting fixtures and sockets.
•Replacing busted capacitors in our switchgear capacitor bank, busted circuit breakers, magnetic contactors, convenience outlet and lightings.
•Perform isolation/de-isolation of all electrical equipments up to the voltage level certified after taking the required isolation certification tests.
