Duties & Responsibilities
* Support the development and implementation of an integrated HSEQ Management System on all sites that complies
with legal, industry, global, and customer specific requirements and standards.
* Management of change for all operations and maintenance activities, simultaneous operations and bridging
documents.
* Daily support for operations and maintenance teams on HSE matters
* Assisting with the development and implementation of the health and safety plan, identification of risk management
and hazard identification. Communicate effectively in order to develop and maintain positive behavioural
environment and positive relationships with site staff and client management.
* Leading teams and working closely with the corporate and project teams to maintain and develop the existing
exceptional standards in safety, implement standardisation processes, and safety cultural awareness and application
programs and assisting in leading the leaders to make informed business decisions.
* Coordinate all HSE efforts with the safety teams to ensure that stated goals are met and that the team moves the
safety program forward as planned.
* Developed with the offshore team safe working systems to comply with international standards and applicable
regulation (MARPOL, ISM Code, ISPS, SOLAS, STCW, etc).
* Arrange and record the findings from HSE inspections of the workforce and of their work practices for trend analysis.
* Collated weekly and monthly reports and performance KPIs against company HSEQ objectives and site standards.
* Lead the implementation of an ongoing positive health and safety culture, ensuring that each department is aware of
their accountabilities, responsibilities and objectives within the HSEQ Management System.
* Coach, challenge and support staff to achieve the necessary level of competence and capability to identify and
manage HSE risks, and achieve continuous improvement in performance and support operational staff to take HSE
accountability.
* Prepared the Oil Spill Response plan and Emergency Response Plan as per applicable regulation
* Acted as a coordination point between offshore operations management, company management, third parties
(inspection bureaus) and local authorities (environment ministry, energy ministry, etc.).
* Reviewed procedures, method statements and risk assessments to ensure compliance from contractor

Crown Maghreb Can making was a big project in North Africa that started production to regional beverage suppliers (PEPSI
Libya, Coca Cola, etc) in 2005 with a full capacity reaching 2 million cans per day. I was among the starting team from factory
building to full quality management system implementation.

* Full responsibility of can making process supervision and improvement by means of Statistical Process Control - SPC.
* Quality validations for operations processes, monthly maintenance and annual overhaul.
* Daily management meeting with production /operations /maintenance supervisors.
* Line audit and non-conformance reports issue and follow-up.
* Raw materials quality control, defective raw materials management.
* New supplier’s trials and qualification.
* Finished good control and conformity approval.
* Lead production and maintenance staff on fault-finding and problem solving.
* Produce and maintain customer complaints action plan.
* Supplier selection and evaluation.
* Quality data analysis and KPIs follow-up.

* Start-up of Can Maghreb Can factory as a pilot Greenfield project in north Africa, from construction to commissioning
