· Develops and maintains quality standards that apply to onsite construction work, ensuring proper implementation.
· Reviews and approves inspections, test plans and quality control plans from contractor.
· Assisting stakeholders with QA/QC Inspection Procedures in order to meet specifications and overall project quality requirements.
· Identifies, analyzes and resolves problems and issues with quality assurance and control for site construction.
- To manage all the Design & Build Works in accordance with the provisions of this contract and the D&B construction contract including but not limited to all civil, structural, electrical and Airfield works, associated Airfield Ground Lighting System, protection and rerouting of any existing services.
This is including the Shop Drawing review, the follow up the planning and sequence of the working activities of site, checking the shop drawings, following up the day-to-day activities onsite which includes inspection/monitoring to insure the implantation of the the Quality Assurance Plan.
-Assisting with regular audits/surveillance to ensure proper compliance with procedures.
-Co-ordinate and attend site inspections, testing & commissioning (T&C), project handover and snag/defect rectification process to ensure that all projects are delivered according to Airport Standard (Matar Expectations/ requirements).
