• Develop, deliver and evaluate solutions to effect positive change in industry and public sector.
• Led & directed Start-up & Commissioning activity of all utilities in 'Kashagan' project, included the onsite and offshore facilities comprising water, wastewater, produced water, desalination, steam, air and nitrogen.
• Worked closely with various stakeholders including the Project Manager, Engineering Managers, and the Construction Team to provide subject-matter expert advice and leadership.
• Carried out vendor package quality assurance for utilities units, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Assurance & Verification of field installations, etc.
• Established system boundaries, developed turnover / commissioning execution plans, and defined operating procedures for individual system (start-up, shutdown, and preservation & maintenance).
• Received FIMPR award (Fix, Improve, Maintain, Preserve & Restart) from Director- NCOC for resolving one of the top 4 major bottlenecks that were critical to restart oil production.
• Worked under extreme environments (-40 °C to +50 °C) on the job in the fields.

Shell Eastern Petroleum Pte Ltd, Singapore (2011-12)
• Supported assets at Bukom and Jurong for utilities including water & wastewater treatment.
• Provided vital support to site to overcome production crisis.
• Worked on brown field projects for a major upgradation of desalination unit.
Shell Technology India, Bangalore (20010-11)
• Worked as Global Focal Point for Utilities reliability of downstream manufacturing assets.
• Performed design reviews and resolved critical debottleneck issues in operating plants.
• Provided engineering support to JV/third party sites across the region (Australia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thai and China).
• Provided site support to Pluto LNG (Australia) during start-up and commissioning of desalination unit and other facilities for treating water & wastewater. Established operating procedures and provided training to the operating staff.
Shell Global Solutions, Amsterdam (2009)
• Implemented industry proven techniques and world class design/ engineering practices (Shell DEPs, DEMs) for all Shell & JV projects.
• Developed and delivered engineering packages, ‘Scouting to FEED’ in large Upstream & Downstream projects. Direct liaison and coordination with lead offices in the Europe for water and wastewater projects.
• Developed water catalogue giving techno-commercial comparative of various water treatment technologies used in oil and gas industry.
• Managed business for Package Equipment Division of the company and responsible for P&L of the division.
• Reorganized country sales and marketing teams for efficient utilization of resources to cover effectively large customer base across the regions. Additionally held responsibility for Central Engineering team at HO.
• Achievements included winning prestigious orders of medium scale projects by introducing trend setting technologies for industrial and domestic sectors.
• Improved quality through industry- first design standards, improved fabrication, preservation and enabling exclusivity procedures for installations, and start-up and commissioning.

• Established unit operating processes at customer locations to enhance the system performance. Hailed the abilities in techniques used for corrosion and scale control, coagulation & flocculation, sludge dewatering, oxidation, disinfection, bio-augmentation, etc.

• Head of Department: Utilities & Water Treatment of the integrated textile complex.
• Led ‘Erection and Commissioning’ activities of the Utility facilities of a large integrated textile mill. The facilities included Desalination Plant and the systems to treat various effluent streams and its recovery (up to 97%).
• Efficiently managed Operations & Maintenance and run the department as SBU, a profit centre.
• Participated in the development of the strategic plan of the manufacturing group in order to maximize production rate, minimize cost, optimize staffing, and prevent disruptions to plant operations.
• Ensured regulatory compliance for environment adhered to safe work policy and implemented quality standards/ procedures.
• Reviewed and approved training needs of the personnel to enhance their operating skills and knowledge.
• Ensured efficient unit operations of centralized facility for control of gaseous emissions, liquid effluent and solid wastes generated from various production units.
• Led set up of control parameters for SCADA, PLC, and DCS for new Caprolactum wastewater treatment plant. Contributed in execution, HAZOP studies and smooth start-up of the project.
• Reviewed the developed procedures, got approved and supervised the implementation of the procedures within the plant battery limits to prevent miss-operations and human errors in daily plant operations.
• Led 3E Program (Economy, Energy & Environment) under Indo-Dutch initiatives for fertilizer industry.
* Implemented industry initiatives programs focused on river development, water conservation, environmental preservation and sustainable development.
* Developed and produced of environmental education aids as a part of the EE initiatives.
* Coordinated a national level campaign on the river Ganges- Clean Ganga. Use of portable Water Monitoring kit to check the levels of contaminants in river water. Involved civic authorities, educational institutes and NGOs located along the river Ganges to monitor and prevent pollution of the river body.
* Led Sabarmati River Front Development Program
* Conducted seminars, workshops and training programs to further the organization objectives. Educated specific target groups involving industry, NGOs, local administration.
