Project Engineering Lead - Water & Wastewater Treatment; Utilities at North Caspian Operating Company
  • Kazakhstan
  • August 2012 to June 2016

• Led & directed Start-up & Commissioning activity of all utilities in 'Kashagan' project, included the onsite and offshore facilities comprising water, wastewater, produced water, desalination, steam, air and nitrogen.
• Worked closely with various stakeholders including the Project Manager, Engineering Managers, and the Construction Team to provide subject-matter expert advice and leadership.
• Carried out vendor package quality assurance for utilities units, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Assurance & Verification of field installations, etc.
• Established system boundaries, developed turnover / commissioning execution plans, and defined operating procedures for individual system (start-up, shutdown, and preservation & maintenance).
• Received FIMPR award (Fix, Improve, Maintain, Preserve & Restart) from Director- NCOC for resolving one of the top 4 major bottlenecks that were critical to restart oil production.
