(MOC) using BricsCAD and datasheets.
• Assisted in internal inspection of columns, vessels, coalescers, heaters
and exchangers to ensure operational integrity.
• Performed tray inspection, checking for damages, and noted problems like
corrosion, deformation, and misalignment of trays.
• Assisted in demister pad inspection including replacement of pads covering
the number of bolts, clamps and grids.
• Conducted seal pan test in DHDS to verify leak issues and identify leak
issues affecting the column performance.
• Assisted Senior Process Engineer in preparation of basic details related to
blister formation.
• Assisted in modification of existing distributor to avoid splashing of
amine to the shell of flash drum.
• Performance Guarantee test run of new facilities, catalysts and chemicals

Operations
• Recorded reactor pressure in VGO-HDS unit ensuring a minimum pressure
of 2.2 kg/cm2 to prevent air ingress and safeguard the reactor internals from
oxidation, catalyst burning and moisture exposure.
• Assisted in startup and shutdown of pump and compressor.
• Assisted in catalyst loading and unloading in Naphtha Hydro Treater
(NHT) unit.
• Identified blisters formed in Rich Amine Flash Drum in VGOHDS due to
wet H2S Corrosion during Turnaround Inspection.
• Assisting panel operators in routine field operation of hydrotreating &
hydroprocessing equipment.
• Assisted in lineup and changeover of pumps, compressors and vessels as per
SOPs.
• Took field readings of pressure, temperature and flow ensuring smooth
coordination with the control room.
• Supported startup and shutdown of the hydrotreating system.
• One-month rotational shift exposure in Sulphur Recovery Unit assisting in
furnace startup.
