• Managed the Mortgage Portfolio in line with the marketing strategy of Consumer & Elite Gold Banking and within the overall framework and direction of NBAD;
• Identify opportunities and target segments, develop and launch new Consumer Banking Mortgage products. Drive for timely execution, co-ordinate with various Divisions to ensure all aspects of the Product Development including Systems, Processes and Procedures, Audit compliance, and Legal/Risk approvals are in place;

• Ensure adequate product visibility, both outdoors and in branches, and enhance product value and visibility through Campaigns and Promotions.
• Developed and implemented effective credit control policy, and SAP Credit Management System.
• Evaluated and reviewed all new and existing customers’ financial status and credit worthiness, based on their existing asset value and financial reports.
• Prepared weekly cash forecasts and provided regular feedback on receivables, outstanding and made recommendations to ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Analyzed all aspects of the sales ledger and prepared various reports like monthly Debtors ageing reports etc.
• Responsible for bank transaction like cash deposit and claiming of returned cheques.
• Ensured accurate and timely closing of month-end credit control, and managed overall relationship with customers in order to reduce exposure to potential bad debts.
• Maintained appropriate business system to accomplish defined sales objectives. As well as managed customers’ mortgage applications, and coordinated with them for completion of pending documentation and associated formalities;
• Sustained healthy relations with customers by helping them maintain their property portfolios mortgaged by the bank, ensuring prompt attendance to complaints and by soliciting referrals through superior customer management as well as maintaining good relationships with staff at developers’ office;
• Closely liaised with the Bank’s policy, Credit and Operations while processing applications;
• Analyzed competitors strength/weaknesses and monitored changes in the mortgage market;
• Kept abreast of Anti Money Laundering checks and procedures.
