Group Financial Planning and Analysis
In Budgeting Field
Being the Budgeting Manager, direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions
Prepare capital and operating budgets
Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop business plans for the company
Conduct reasonableness and logic tests of the overall sales plan & margines
Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports against budget
Prepare and analyse 3 month rolling forecast during each month

In Costing Field
Fixing standard costs of raw materials and update these in the BaaN system for correctly calculating product cost of items produced
Formulate and implement internal Transfer Pricing policy for items produced in-house e.g. Copper rod, drawn wires etc.
Producing Product Cost report and analyse variances
Analyse production result variance on a monthly basis for better material cost control & establish reasons in consultation with manufacturing/production departments
Analyse production losses on a monthly basis and investigate unusual scrap losses
Prepare monthly profitability report on Item Groups, LOB and Territory wise
Prepare Cost trends and analysis for abnormality control purposes
Perform what-if analysis and evaluations for all proposals of sales promotions, discounts and price-off to establish financial viability of the proposals. Track actual performance of the proposal to work out incremental profits/(losses) achieved against plan
Identify and highlight cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities to Management
Review Stock Level, Material Consumption ( Direct Material & Indirect Material ) & Low-Value Material purchased
Conducting Physical Stock check and reconcile it with system Value
