● Oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and import management
● Develop strategic plans for efficient vehicle allocation, considering job site requirements and delivery schedules.
● Supervise supply base/drilling logistics processes in rigs and warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth movement of equipment and trucks.
● Issue road permits for trucks and plan the best route to reach sites in a timely manner.
● Oversee the loading and unloading of equipment, ensuring safe handling and adherence to operational guidelines.
● Develop plans for the purchase of equipment and supplies, optimizing procurement processes.
● Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure optimal value and service delivery.
● Negotiate rates and payment terms with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for importing spare parts and equipment, securing the best possible prices and terms.
● Supervise preparation and issuance of PR receipt / POs/ PO closure/ Obtain POs approvals/ Follow-up deliveries.
● Oversee the material delivery and coordinate with purchase coordinators and warehouse and match GRN with POs and invoice.
● Prepare and present detailed procurement reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
● Demonstrate familiarity with Saudi Arabia logistics regulations, customs procedures (Fasah), and SABER requirements.
● Negotiating the rates, qualities, incoterms, payment terms and specifications of products (Fresh Fruits, Pulp & concentrate, juices, Tomato Paste & concentrate) with clients.
● Issue proforma invoices and liaise with the production dep and Quality Control to ensure production readiness on time.
● Manage inland and sea export shipments process starting from receiving the customer's orders, preparing and sending the production order to the production department and keeping up to date with the production status of each order until export orders are dispatched.
● Negotiate, deal, and book with Shipping Lines and Freight Forwarders for optimal rates and services for sea export and inland shipments.
● Provide detailed information to the Export manager and clients, including Vessel Schedule, Freight rates, shipping lines, loading date, Estimated Time of Departure (ETD), Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), Transit time, demurrage & and detention days.
● Prepare essential shipment documents, including (Commercial invoices, Packing lists, Bills of lading, Certificates of origin, Certificates of inspection, and insurance certificates).
● Follow up shipments from the factory and Port of Loading (POL) till the final destination at the Port of discharge (POD) and solve any problems that may arise.
● Ensure timely delivery of all shipment documents to customers and maintain organized shipping records, both in scanned and physical copies.
● Collect and review ocean freight charges from shipping lines and forwarders and send to the financial dep.
● Coordinate with the Financial department in handling Payment issues, ensuring payments are transferred on time from clients without delay.
● Proactively resolve logistical and export problems and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
● Keep organized shipping records, including (scanned and Physical) copies of documents.
● Plan, organize, supervise, and actively participate in daily warehouse operations, overseeing tasks such as receiving storage, and inventory distribution.
● Check orders, received items, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy, promptly reporting shortages, discrepancies, and damaged goods to vendors.
● Liaise with vendors, keeping track of booking volumes, gross weights, and Verified Gross Mass (VGM) for shipments.
● Manage all in and outbound shipments, including sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping. Conduct audits on each shipment before packing to ensure alignment with order specifications.
● Prepare supporting documentation (Truck loading plans and shipping orders) to facilitate smooth warehouse operations.
● Ensure thorough review of shipping operations and container load plans. Calculate the cubic meters of goods for packing into containers for export shipments.
● Oversee and assist shipping operations, including loading and unloading of Sea export Shipments.
● Book containers and trucks for sea shipments and follow shipments from warehouses to terminals.
