As a member of the Project Development Team, my responsibilities are:
participate as a legal member on behalf of the company in number of the new power projects` teams.
reviewing and amending the documents of the power projects tenders- including renewable power projects - such as PPA, PWPA, EIA, MOA, PDA, ..etc. to secure and maintain the company`s position either as offtaker or owner of the project.
reviewing and amending EPCs documents and providing legal support to the business units in any potential risk or dispute.
I`m responsible internally for a number of under construction and live projects, where I`m providing legal support for the company`s business units.
analyzing the potential risks over the company in respect of any potential dispute or activity with the IPPs.
providing the company` s business units with the adequate legal consultations in dealing with the IPPs.
liaising with the external legal counsels of the company in respect of issues, disputes, and transactions which may be transferred to them.
advising the company and its subsidiaries in different areas of practice such as corporate, contracts, and commercial.
providing legal support and consultation in relation to the potential business opportunities for the company in light of the local laws and internal governance of the company.
reviewing and analyzing MOUs and NDAs, in addition to other agreements from international perspective.
Providing legal support o SEC`s subsidiaries working in various areas of practice such as telecommunications, service providing, …..etc.
Handling number of transactions on behalf of either SEC or its subsidiaries including but not limited to acquisition, and start up a new business with interference in the negotiations, and drafting the needed documents like shareholders Agreement, and security arrangements.

I handled unprecedented criminal case in the area of religious discrimination based on claimed abusive dismissal on behalf of an international company, and I handled many cases in the area of Corporate Criminal (Public funds squandering, fraud, uncovered checks, customs evasion, and criminal liability of the company management).
I prepared researches and handled unprecedented two cases in the area of antitrust competition with the amount of Forty Million EGP on behalf of one of the largest companies in the cement industry in Egypt.
