Alstom is an international company which have many branches all over the world.
My work there is to design and draw stations, interiors and co-coordinating with the other companies in sight, (civil-electrical-firefighting & alarms-cooling system-furnishing) works and as built drawings.
Main responsibilities:
-Interface between central team in Saint Ouen - France and Cairo design team in order to optimize the time needed for the design.
-Create the standard templates to be followed by installation design team.
-Estimate cables BOQ.
-Initiate schematic signaling track location and outdoor wiring layout.
Achievements:
-Be a part of the team to wine Beni Suef to Asuyt railway project
-Be a part of installation design team in Tram Dubai and to help them to delivery on time the required documents and drawing.
-Build a big team in for drafting to be capable of work on a lot of project on our site.
1. Understanding customer requirements based on project Specifications:
Check all the customer needs in his design.
Check project location and study all the obstacles and how to hand it.
Define project scope and plane the project time.
2. Design the preliminary drawing for the deferent projects to be approved by the customers:
The first draft drawings (thoughts and first designs using Auto CAD and 3D Max programs to make the design visibility more realistic and more understandable).
The shop drawings after customer approval for the preliminary designs.
The As built drawing (If needed) for the customer
3. Supervise and manage technical team applying the project (In interior design projects)
Or checking with the factory production manager design details and avoid any misunderstanding.
4. Design most of the ideas and new designs for the company, which received a success in company's showroom.
5. Design the company partition in Indoors exhibition in 2010 & 2011 in Cairo International Fair.
6. Design the company partition in La Casa exhibition in 2010 & 2011 in Cairo International Fair.
7. Assist in designing different projects in Cairo like coffee shops and show rooms and studio wooden walls.
1. Supervising all of the factory products.
2. Assist in design furniture for the factory showroom.
3. Supervising and assist in design Military hotel`s furniture in Aswan with CNC router.
4. Supervising and assist in design university city furniture in Beni Suif.
5. Draw and drill CNC router drawing using Auto CAD program.
6. Know all about wooden furniture cutout drawing list, wood`s kinds and stains, manufacturing details for wooden furniture.
7. Coordination and linkage between management in the factory to get all the customer needs from the tiles
8. Creating the profiles to make the designs suitable for the machines and help the designers to

9. Follow up the consummation of the materials in the production and working to decrease it as possible.
10. Solving the production problems in the Defects of the materials and the designs during the production process.
11. Taking customer briefs and choosing suitable design with the suitable effects.
I got this in an accumulative appreciation over the past five years in the study creativity and design and also I have made a lot of projects and practical training during study
