Job Profile:


• Responsible for the monthly close as well as maintenance of all accounting ledgers including monthly review of all account reconciliations and journal entries.

• Preparation of all monthly financial reports, including Profit and Loss (P&L) Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement, as year-end financial reports.

• Oversee the General Accounting processes of Inter-company, Fixed assets, Accounting and financial reporting of all entities.

• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.

• Work with external auditors during audits and compliance with all qualified requests.

Job Title - Senior Accountant
Reporting to - Chairman/Managing Director
Responsibilities
 Financial/Accounting - Responsible for maintaining accounts for the company on Peachtree, ensuring that timely payments are made to the Suppliers and collections are received from Debtors, management of Funds Flow for the Company, preparation of weekly/monthly MIS reports, Preparing Trial Balance, P& L Account, Balance Sheet, assisting Company Auditor in finalization of accounts on Quarterly and Annual basis, preparing all documentation relating to banking operations, liaison with Banks for handling Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Bid Bonds, etc.

 Operational & Customer Support - Preparation of high-value tender bids independently, compilation of required information, consolidation of documentation and ensuring that tender requirements and deadlines are met. Placing of purchase orders with the suppliers, overseeing Customs procedures, coordination with Production manager to ensure the availability of material, work force etc.

 Commercial - Ensuring that Customers are billed in accordance with the Company’s pricing policy, liaison with Insurance Companies and various Government Agencies like Labor Office, Immigration, Customs, Telephone Authorities, etc., negotiating on behalf of the Company for purchase of inks, papers, printing machineries, computers, office equipment, computer consumables, office stationery and other local purchases, organizing documentation relating to imports, exports & local sales, i.e. customs clearance procedures.

 Administrative - All General Administrative functions in the Company including managing the Managing Director’s official diary, managing the office in his absence, independent communication with Customers, liaison with Government Agencies and Suppliers.

 PR & Marketing - Organizing and helping prepare the team for Sales and arranging annual events for the company.
HR - Assisting Managing Director in conducting interviews & selecting suitable candidates, maintenance & management of employee records including attendance, leave, payroll, etc., keeping track of issue and expiration of Labor Cards, Residence Visas, Health Cards, etc., formulation & implementation of employee-related policies, assisting Managing Director in year-end assessment of employees and in identification & implementation of suitable incentive schemes.
