Directing, leading & motivating workforce and imparting continuous on-job training for accomplishing greater operational efficiency and safety enhancement.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures in the workplace.
Designing and delivering site specific training programs like industrial cylinder handling, identifying hazards in filling activities, product related hazard identification to workers through SOS and JSA trainings.
Providing support and assistance to operational Departments for site based department issues, Risk Assessments and EHS Questionnaires
Coordinates annual employee health programs including audiometric testing, pulmonary function testing, routine physicals
Investigates and tracks job injuries and lost workdays and maintains training documentation, records and activities
Evaluating, identifying and controlling hazards and risks associated with in the workplace environment and proving safety measures and system to prevent accidents and incidents in workplace.
Responsible for ensuring that workers are not exposed to hazardous materials or conditions and provide emergency response plan and
appropriate medical care.
Production optimization, yield improvement and developing guidelines for sequencing of manufacturing activities on the work floor (SOP); optimizing production plan & its process
Developing and ensure implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental emergency planning &
response procedures.
Formulating day-to-day strategies and schedules for the operations along with resource allocation and manpower deployment for optimum output
Oversees the functioning and maintenance of facility systems including mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety
Makes independent Facilities operations decisions based on department policies and procedures and
within the scope of the position
Ensures the reliability and performance of facility critical /emergency response equipment’s by conducting periodic inspections and mock drills.
Accomplished internal audit of Integrated Management System (IMS) in the year of 2022-2023 as of audit calendar plan
Liaising with contractors/vendors/ service providers to optimize and ensure the cost effective closures of services by estimating expenditures, and recommending cost-saving measures
Accident and Incident reporting and reporting with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for the same.
Lead by example to observe QHSE rules and regulations
Supervising production related tasks including planning, control & troubleshooting; setting up production targets & achieving the same within time & cost parameters; preparing production protocols, capturing wastage of production
Creating and modifying effective standard operating procedures (SOP) for the preparation and implementation of programs within the area of health, safety and environment in production process
Partake in Integration of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Safety System and ISO 45001OSHA for
Integrated Management System (IMS).
Responsible to implement and maintain the health and safety standards and facility emergency response plan in work place
Responsible to implement and maintain safety culture in work place
Developing and reviewing the Operating procedures (SOP) as of requirement.
Initiating Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) on successful completion of projects or after the major
maintenance.
