• Managing HSBC’s rugby sponsorship activation in the region including events such as the HSBC Asian 5 Nations, Emirates Airlines Dubai Rugby Sevens and grassroots activities in local schools with international rugby players
• Creating and developing business proposals and presentations for new and existing clients covering events, consultancy and communications
• Responsible for writing and editing client and event communications including press releases, media kits, digital news releases and marketing material
• Managed media in the GCC and UAE to generate coverage of a PR worth of more than AED 40 million a year.
• Press Office for the Al Ain Aerobatic Show, organised by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, in 2009 and increased the generated coverage in the UAE and GCC by 50% more than 2008.
• Developed and maintained strong media relations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the sports, lifestyle, business and tourism sectors.
• Worked with the Account Director as the press office for all ADTA’s sports portfolio, gaining valuable experience in key sporting events like the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, Red Bull Air Race, Abu Dhabi International Triathlon and many more.
• Built and maintained effective working relationships with Business Councils in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
• Worked with our Head of Digital on PR campaigns for the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship and Abu Dhabi International Triathlon.
• Responsible for generating an average of over 15 features for each event worked on.
• Promoted PR ideas to engage communities in sports events like the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge and the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon.
• Handled day-to-day account work for major international and national companies like The Rezidor Hotel Group, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and many more.
