• Generating scope of work, installation procedures, task plans
• Maintaining project documentation and generating daily progress reports.
• Interfacing with various project parties (i.e. client, managers, subcontractor, engineering, etc.).
• Estimating and bid package preparation, pre-construction.
• Supervising construction/installation work sites, ensuring commitment, quality, and safety of project execution.
• Coordinating with the procurement department, review RFQs and technical documents, participate in vendor selection and technically review bids.
• Managing, preparing, assigning, releasing and coordinating resources, equipment, material, consumables, 3rd party certification and subcontractors required for execution throughout the project life cycle.
• Assign and oversee design, detail, BOMs, design reviews and check of all aspects of the mechanical design package
• Collaborate with project management to fully understand project requirements to develop cost effective and innovative solutions.
• Understand and apply GD&T to drawing package as required by technical specifications and/or project requirements.
• Actively participate in kick-off meetings with the assigned project team.
• Ensure that all designs and concepts are in compliance with current safety standards.
• Ensure that actual design costs are within the estimated project design costs.
• Work towards meeting project milestones including budgets, schedules and project time-lines
• Monthly Progress Payment certificate preparation, certification from client, payment follow ups.
Costing Engineer
• Preparing the cost break down structure and target budgets for the projects.
• Control and Monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from supplier, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditure are captured and properly recorded.
• Detailed scrutiny and analysis of forecast completion on monthly basis for various projects.
• Prepare cost movement report for all projects - Monthly.
• Attending Project meetings and discussion with the project site team and external clients.
• Prepare, review and submission of Weekly/Monthly cost report to management.
• Labour rate analysis, monitoring labour hours consumed against budget hours.
• Keeping the track various financials such as cash flows, contract value, claims status, billing information, receivables, liabilities and profitability.
• Highlighting and to raise early warning signals on the cost, profitability, margins and completion period etc., so as to track the project margins and take necessary corrective actions.
• Overall monitoring project costing, and maintaining it within the budget.
Planning Engineer
• Study of scope, Documents, Drawings, and Visiting sites and preparing project plan
• Preparation of schedule by coordinating all the departments like engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Complete resource planning including labour and Non-Labour as the project and standard productivity norms.
• Preparation and updation of weekly & monthly report including schedule analysis, schedule updation, look ahead etc.,
• Preparation of Delay log sheets, Minutes of Meeting, action plans
• Conducting project review meeting for tracking projects progress.
• Preparing of necessary documents for attaining Extension of Time
• Attending the client, Engineering meetings, site progress meeting, review & close out of pending points.
Costing Engineer

• Preparing Of Mobilization Plan
• Mobilize the Staff and manpower, Materials.
• Review of GAD as per technical specification and getting approval from consultant/client.
• Client & consultant correspondence (mails & letters) maintaining.
• Daily drawing updating, drawing correspondence handling & distribution to site
• Preparing WPS, PQR, WPQ and getting approval from consultants/clients
• Preparation of invoice for both unit price and lump sum portion of works
• Collecting the practical difficulties of the project from site engineers and submits to the project manager.
• Searching the Sub Agency & Mobilize the Sub Agency in Proper Time at the Site.
• Preparing comparative statement for supply of materials and placing purchase order to supplier for bought out items.
• Preparing and implementing the HSE procedures in coordination with HSE Department.
• Preparation of the Method of statement, sequence work procedure
• Spool Fabrication and Erection Inspection as per Isometric Drawings
• Responsible for the verification of Invoices of Contractors as per scope of work.
