To support Sify internal Teams to perform L3 troubleshooting and providing them best practices solution for Network and Security devices
Handling L3/P1 Cases and apart from that involved in DC designs and creation of Solutions
Lab testing of new product and Technical solution
Configuring and managing 3000 firewall via scripts.
Involves On-site implementations, HLD -LLD and migration approach document preparation for clients
Actively Participate plan, recommend and develop strategies and direction for network
infrastructure solutions using current and emerging technologies.
Drive evaluation for new features and technology adoption.
Troubleshooting latency issues faced by the customers and providing best path in reaching their destinations across the world.
To troubleshoot the connectivity on Layer 3 and Layer 2 in case there are access problems for customers (VPN, IVPN, and MPLS VPN).
Identify and resolve problems on high end Switches, Routers (Cisco & Juniper& CISCO ASR) & fortinet firewall.
Implementation & troubleshooting of vlans, high availability solutions like hsrp, ether channels, access control lists, NAT, PAT, routing solutions etc
Configuring IPSec in our core Fortigate firewall and customer end routers for our Secure Site connect and Remote access VPN subscribed customers.
Configuring routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP for customer last mile.
Configuring IPSEC and GRE tunnels for VPN customers.
Configuring and troubleshoot VRF-lite for customers.
Configuring VLAN Trunking Protocol and Troubleshoot and identify problems in STP, RSTP, PVSTP, MSTP.
Escalation contact for corporate technical problems and enterprise network managed customers.
Handle fault reports and perform service support for the fault management of the Established customer services and customer networks.
Weekly and on demand review with the senior management of Business and Service delivery unit on Customer problems, recommend technical solution enhancements as required to meet the SLAs.
Coordinating with Field Engineers to do the customer shifting for any emergency changes.
Managing Network consisting of more than 1000 Cisco routers & different vendor equipments
Impact analysis and planning of proposed Customer setup for any planned changes.
Preparing configuration template for customer configuration for the planned changes and execute the same.
Experience with LAN management (Switching, VLANs, VTP, Trunking, MSTP, and Ether channel)
Configuring vlans over switches for operating bridge mode configurations.
Configuring HSRP and VRRP in Switches and Routers and Port Security in Switches to prevent unauthorized users
