• Initiation of Log Book Entries and monitoring of the corrective action and preventative measures provided by the Contractor. Liaison with SAPMT on the execution of the recommended corrective actions.
• Issuing Pro-Active and LBE’s in QMIS for Contractor activities to ensure all the work activities are followed as per Saudi Aramco standards and Procedures in compliance to minimum project quality requirement as Schedule Q.
• Conduct Focus Assessment weekly to make sure that all the workflow are ongoing according to the Quality requirement.
• Attendance of weekly QA/QC meetings involving SAPMT and the Contractor.
• Coordinate with the Contractor’s QC Supervisor/Manager for the timely completion and submission of documentation as required by the Company.
• Preparing and submission of weekly highlights.
• Attending and giving suggestions to any query related to Quality by SAPMT/Contractor.
• Interviewing and approval of the Contractor’s QC personnel according to the requirements of Schedule Q.
• Review of welding procedure specification (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR).
• Witness Contractor welder qualification and review testing records and final approval of welder JCC cards.
• Ensure that all Quality Control activities on shop / site are fully implemented and maintained throughout all stages of contract execution in accordance with Project Specifications and Code requirements
• Raising Standard Violation for any activity or work flow that is not conforming to the requirement International codes and ARAMCO Standards and Specifications and follow-up for the close out of field discrepancy and NCR.
• Conduct Focus Assessment weekly to make sure that all the workflow is according to the Quality requirement.
• Experienced in Material receiving inspection of plates, pipes, valves, flanges, fittings, Gaskets etc, made of ferrous, non-ferrous, Alloys and copper nickel materials and reviewing of Material test certificate (MTC) as per code matching with heat number, Mechanical and chemical properties and marking of material to comply with code and specification requirements
• Review of WPS, PQR in comply with the code requirements
• Qualification of welders as per code and Monitoring of welder’s productivity and repair rate on weekly basis in compliance with project specification requirement.
• Pre-welding and Fit-up Inspection, Verification of welder Qualification, Ensure usage of Electrode, Filler wire prior to welding.
• Ensure Preheat maintained as per code requirement for alloy materials, Perform In-process inspection on LTCS, SS material for compliance of Heat input and back purging.
• Periodic inspection for calibration & validation of welding equipment, Baking and holding ovens.
• Monitoring PWHT, NDT, Hardness and PMI for the pipe spools during fabrication and Erection.
• Welding inspection for different materials like CS, SS and Alloy (P1, P8 and P11).
• Carry out stage wise fit-up and welding inspection for tanks according to approved project ITP.
• Checking of Peaking, Banding, Plumpness and roundness of shell plates.
• Witnessing of Pneumatic testing of pads, Vacuum Box testing and Pontoon pressure leak testing.
• Review of test packages as per line class, test pressures and check for inspection documents and traceability records availability prior to testing and submitting to client for approval
• Completion of punch A items, Final Mechanical clearance for pressure testing.
• Prior to testing verify pressure gauges, safety relief valve calibration certificates and Witnessing of Hydro / Pneumatic test and Roof tilting test during De-watering of Hydro test.
• Reviewing of As-Built drawings against the back up inspection reports/Drawing Change notes
• Reviewing of Final manufacturing data book for handing over to the CLIENT
• Conduct Material inspection for painting / blasting materials and monitor the storage Conditions as per manufacturer data sheet and project specifications.
• Witnessing of Blasting / Painting Applicators qualification.
• Carry out inspection for Moisture, Relative Humidity and wind speed prior to start any blasting / Painting activities.
• Inspection on Blasted surfaces checking surface profile and Chloride Content.
• Carry out Inspection for DFT after completion of primer, mid and final coats.
• Witnessing of Pull-off tests for each paint systems.
• Witnessing of Holiday test on Final Coated Surfaces for buried and offshore lines .
• Periodic verification on calibration of inspection tools and testing equipment.
